Does anyone know where I can find a map of Europe, WWI or before? Preferably one with major roads or railways marked.

Heh, the reason im looking for them is I'm thinking of modifying Risk, only just concentrating on Europe instead of the world, and with actual movement rates for armies. Its going to be more complex than that when I'm finished though.

Cool. One time I modernized the Risk map, and added rules for nukes and navies and all sorts of other shit. It was pretty cool, and immensely complicated. What sucks about doing that, though, is that eventually it gets to the point where you might as well play something like Hearts of Iron or Europa Universalis, you know, something more complicated. But then that kind of defeats the purpose of Risk. Striking the balance between accuracy and simplicity is difficult.
