They could overwhelm us with billions of young men armed with cheaply made rifles

And migs, dont forget the migs

They don't have billions of soldiers. They have millions. But not billions.

they also developed kung fu and would charge at our lines in human waves. Our machine guns and a-10 warthogs are no match for them, nor will our f-22 raptors be a match for there flankers or mig30's.

Lets face it, with the power of the spirts and philosophy of Sung Zu on thier side, how can we expect our 14 airdraft battle groups keep the chinese dingy's from crossing the pacfic and landing in cali?

...tactical nukes...

Lets not forget they will have millions of fishing boats crossing the atlantic. If they charge our Ageis Missle Cruisers in human-boat wanve tactics, they will be overwhelmed.

Oh yeah and fuel air bombs....and B-52s.......and M-1A2s.......

Why is our Air Force inferior to theirs?

I think it's safe to presume China would be kicked out of existance if tried to invade the states. What about the reverse? would the U.S be able to invade China [no nukes!]

The Chinese don't have MiGs. They have cheap MiG knock-offs.

But they do have some good planes.

I don't know. I guess maybe if we used our bombers to destroy everything they had, and THEN land ground forces just to take over the useless land, then yeah.

How dare you charge that me Azeron, dark lord of the internet -- am not scinere!!! don't you see how easy it would be for China to amass the 100 million troops needed, assemble the required naval forces it has (basically fishing boats) and somehow manage to get all there fighters accross the pacific, all while battleing a fierce and determined american navy doing everything in its power to prevent an invasion of the Homeland?

Can't you see how blindingly obvious that war is evolving to get rid of technology, training, logistics, air support , and amassing large groups of illiterate peasents to fight war? Isn't that how the US won in afganistan so easily?

But how do the young guys with rifles and MiGs get to the States? How are they re-supplied when they get there? How do the 1950s MiG-17/21 clones that still form the bulk of the PLAAF avoid being boo-booed by defending fighters with the advantages of weapon + sensor range, support from systems like AWACS, and (in extremis) friendly territory for their pilots to eject into, and thus continue the fight? What do the Chinese grunts do once a presidential order grants the US Army permission to use chemical agents to stop the Red Tide? How does the PLA Navy stop USN carrier groups from clearing Chinese ships from American waters and then providing close air support to troops near the coast?
If China really could mount an invasion of this magnitude, it would have already invaded and re-occupied the ROC in mere days. They haven't.

HELL NO! Think about it: China can't even take over Taiwan, much less invade the United States.

They could. Maybe. If the Bering Strait was re-formed.

They would be better off booking fares on Delta.

Azeron, forcing anyone to fly Delta Airlines on a trans-Pacific flight is a violation of the Geneva Conventions.

Even then, they'd have to fight their way through Siberia.

You are right on that, but I don't think Jet Blue does service to/fro China yet.

Oh well its better than "Transair". (BTW that used to be Valuejets, but its planes kept on crashing due to poor mantainence so they changed the name hoping people would forget how many people died, they have)

Wrong. ValueJet crashed because of an oxygen fire (there were a bunch of canisters shipped when they weren't supposed to me). They renamed themseves as AirTran and have been quite succesful. I've flown them several times and I've no complaints - their new Boeing 717s are quite decent.
