It has been recently decide among you to delete the SEGNOR forum.
I want to know why did you decide to do this? Was it becuase you thought that other usergroup forums were better than ours? And if so, on what did you base that judge meant?
Also will you be deleting any other threads

It's nothing more than spam. TGODs are not a viable reason to have a private forum. All threads worth saving will be moved out of the doomed forum by RogueIce and DGG.

21 minutes to be precise. Anyways, there has been some discussion in the mod forum over all the different private forums that exist. The Gnome forum has come up many a time as a forum that is filled with nothing but spam. The only thing in it of any value are the STGOD threads, and as others have pointed out, we have a forum specifically designed to accomodate STGOD threads.

Becuase it would be little more than worthless spam.

It was started only because the gnomes were generating too much spam and it was hoped that the private forum would reduce it--this did not happen. The general response of mods and Wong himself upon finding that the Gnome Forum had been created was "Really? Why the hell?"
And, since it's a PRIVATE forum, I don't think there's any compelling reason to make it a public issue.
EDIT:
To clarify Son of the Suns post above, there was a bit of discussion in the mod forum about culling some of the private forums and folding them out into the main areas. We nixed the idea on all the forums except for SEGNOR, for which no one could think of any reason to keep. This was a considered decision and agreed upon by all the moderators. Don't worry about your favorite private forum being closed, this action is limited to those forums which had no real reason to exist.
