Don't know about favourite, but does anyone remember the Raccoons? That was such a great theme song.

WWE Smackdown. It's a shortened version of Marilyn Manson's The Beautiful People. Also the theme of Bottom. I just got my tickets booked to see Bottom Live in December. Had to make sure i was back a bit though. The 1st 5 rows are always in danger.

Battlestar Galactica
Andromeda: Season One -- written and performed by Alex Lifeson of Rush worst mistake Kevin Sorbo made for this show was pushing to use the end credit music as the show's theme song.
Dark Shadows (both old and new)
The Greatest American Hero-- (Believe it or not) Walking On Air
Simon & Simon
Magnum P.I.
Hardcastle & McCormick: Season one -- Drive
Jack of All Trades :)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The Fall Guy -- The Unknown Stuntman
Babylon 5 -- I liked season 5's theme music (and intro) the best.

And for some reason I like the theme for the first season of the cartoon Galaxy High

Oh, and of course the themes for CSI and CSI: Miami. Who can go wrong with songs by The Who? :D (Who Are You? and Won't Get Fooled Again IIRC, both from The Who's Next Album)

Ooo, I had forgotten about that one. That music rocks. In fact I was rather disappointed with the Batman Beyond: The Joker Returns because it didn't have the cool music intro from the series. :(

Gah! How could I forget the theme for the Highlander tv show. Even an abbreviated version of Princes of the Universe is cool. 8)

and the similar-sounding music used for Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music

Mech Warrior (on when I was a kid on USA cartoon mornings)

Wing Commander (same as above)

Everything else has been mentioned (Simpsons, Futurama, M*A*S*H, etc...)

The Greatest American Hero had the best theme song in known human history.

Followed, to my chagrin, by the theme song of 'Angel', which is a beautiful piece of music.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.
