Well i'm sure some of you older members remember me and a few might wonder What happened. Well basically working towards a Cisco Certification is alot tougher than i thought. I've been busy studying, working on the "Dreaded Case Study", studying, finding descent used Cisco Routers Cheap on E-Bay( for my home Cisco Lab), oh and STUDYING!
Anyway i'll try to not dissappear again but as i told ACH( The star Trek Armada clan i'm in) My Attendance will still be light at best. The Failure rate for first time CCNA exam takers is 70% so its definately no joke( like the A+ exam).

The tests suck. My class was ace in all the labs and activities, but we always had abysmal test scores.

Cisco 4 is a real Pain. The curiculum test are tougher and you only have half a quarter for curiculum( ie Less Time) any Way My ISD Model is now sitting on top of a Cisco 1000 named "Moonshadow" and my Soverign Model Is on a Cisco 1600 named "Seawolf". Our school won't let us in our labs ithout an instructor so i made a minimal Cisco lab at home( My instructor said i need at least 2 routers to do the labs) And the threaded case study SUCKS! I'm glad it will be over in a month and a half because it driving me nuts.

update. Just when things couldn't get worse. My Lab partner for the Threaded Case Study( who was being an ass anyway) just bailed on me leaving me with nothing and the Presentation is Thursday!
So Now i have to do the whole thing by 3:00pm tommarrow. The reason for that deadline is thats the Drop/Add deadline. If i don't have anything that looks like a project by then i can still drop the Class without failing it and retake Cisco 4 next time around. In that case i'll take my CCNA without the class( i have two routers and three prep books) and take Cisco 4 next time around to get my CIS Degree( this course gives you 2 things, A CIS 2 year degree and a CCNA)

Give'em a router loop, I did it to the class in the first quarter, they actually were so stupid about it that they first disassembled the network in the room, *then* unplugged a router and it cleared up (duh!).
It was a week's worth of fun. Just about as good as the entertainment I had with the school server and my laptop. (not to mention the unsecured LAN cable)
