What's the wierdest thing you've ever seen?

Please note, not something you've HEARD, but what you've actually witnessed yourself.

For me, it was a cat-sized, mummified moth under my friend's house!

What ... the ... fuck? A cat-sized moth? Are you sure you weren't just watching a campy B-movie like "Food of the Gods"?

I've never seen anything that weird.

About a year ago last summer I was taking a piss on the side of the Interstate somewhere between Slidell and the Mississippi (phew) border. It was midnight, so it was a Dark, Deep BLACK! Me and Dave were taking home a cute guy we'd just had 'relations' with, so that's why we were on the road in the first place. Anyways, when I was standing there relieving myself, I saw what looked like a black cloud (remember, the night was black, but not perfectly. The stars were out.) the shape of a flying saucer with dim green lights around the edge and a slightly brighter red light on top. It was in a clearing in the woods some fifteen meters away from the edge of the woods, and it was the blackest black I (or probably any human) ever saw. It was like looking into Hell. There were one or two trees between me and the edges of the thing too. Then a couple seconds later, I saw this shadowy form that was at least ten feet tall, looked like Son of Bigfoot and Shadow (™ Babylon 5) or the Shrike from Hyperion, and had big red eyes and a red light on a pod on its left shoulder. Then the pod swivels downward slightly and a red laser (I'm not sure) beam hits me right on the heart! I was done pissing by then (I don't get pee shy around angry space creatures!) so I hauled ass back to the truck and tell Dave to burn rubber. Dave said I looked whiter than a sheet! I told him and he didn't believe me...

I swear to the Goddess on high, I do not know what was in the woods that night, but It Was There!

EDIT: Wow, a cat-size Moth. Impressive!

Nope, its true! We jumped about 10 feet when we saw it! Although I think its impossible for insects to get that big....I can't explain it! I don't believe it was a fake...the guy's father dug it out and threw it in the trash, where it came apart.

Nep, these things are real. City moths/butterflies usually come in small sizes, but out in the open you can see these really big honking ones.

I saw a bull (male cattle) mounting a colt (male horse) in Gettysburg.

To have bugs that big,i think there must be an illegal toxic waste dump somewhere.
