Pepsi Is Entirely Comprised Of Posers

Post by HemlockGrey »

They've just introduced a new drink! Is it new, creative? Does it innovate the cola world?

No! It's a cheap knockoff of Vanilla Coke! Shock, and surprise!

And the ad? Is it clever? Is it inventive, funny, dramatic? No! It's a guy with a riced-up soda van mocking a guy in a Coca-Cola van. The only good commercials these hacks ever came up with were the Queen/Mountain Dew spoof and the Shakkira commercial.

They can't even come up with an original drink, for Chrissakes.

Well, they tried to make their own flavor. Pepsi Blue, which tasted as I imagined battery acid might taste. That worked out well... Pepsi has always been second place, and Coke really bent them over and reamed them on the Vanilla Coke debut.

No, they can't. You know why? They have no friggin imaginations, that's why. They'd rather steal somebody else's idea than come up with their own. Personally, I only drink Mr. Pibb and Sunkist so I don't care as much.

Pepsi Blue, reminds me of a rant I once read. "I'd rather drink toilet water. Nevermind, I hated Pepsi Blue."

let me guess what happens

pepsivan:HAHA Look at you, my van is so much nicer and faster

CokeDude:My truck carries ten times as much as your van and didn't bankrupt my company

Pepsivan: Well, er, ah, we're faster LOSER!::Speeds away skipping his delivery::

At this point I'd like to mention how good the ads were for Vanilla Coke, with the Mafia looking guys, I thought they were rather clever.

Although, Pepsi seems to try to appeal to pop culture more than Coke does.

I don't give a fuck about any sodas besides Sprite, the basic Pepsi and Cherry Coke. Complaining about soda adds and concepts seems very stupid to me, all advertising suck shit and this isn't exactly a new thing.

Vanilla Coke is delicious, provided you drink it on ice. Otherwise it takes like someone dropped a big stick of butter in your Coke.

Well, I'm still a Pepsi girl. I think it tastes better than Coke, so I drink it. I don't care about vanilla whatever or ads. I like the taste, so I drink it. El fin. :D

Gah... I don't like the taste of Pepsi at all. I ahd to drink it one time for lack of anything else, and it was nasty...

And any company that has to have Britney Spears and Bob Dole doing their commercials should just be put out of their misery right then and there.

Pepsi came out with Pepsi twist and months later Coke came out with their version. They rip each other off.

Personally, I'm a Pepsi drinker. I like the taste of Pepsi over Coke. I find it much sweeter.

Im a Coke drinker. I used to suck it down like a Dominion soldier sucks down "the white." However, Vanilla Coke isnt my thing. My alternative to Coke is usually Dr Pepper. ( Sprite, 7-up, GingerAle are all good for upset tummys)

Vanilla Coke is okay, but I prefer the regular sort. I don't really prefer Coke or Pepsi, it depends on how I feel.
Don't hate; appreciate!

Pepsi is too acidic and leaves an acrid taste in my mouth, personally. I much prefer Coke.

I had it back when they were test marketing it in Colorado in 1992.

Crystal Pepsi tasted just like regular Pepsi, although it might have been a tiny bit different.

Then there's the whole mental deal of tasting lemon cola from a clear liquid...
