Favourite love song?

I've been learning recently of the wonderful experience that love is (for the first time for me, the feeling is mutual, and it is fantastic!). I suppose the song that really gets my heart pounding is Bryan Adams 'Please Forgive Me', which I'd never heard until a few days ago, yet now I find to be really powerful.

What about the rest of you? Is there a particular song that gets the emotions flowing?

Don't forget to ask her "If you love me you will take it in the behind"

Hey someone has to use "if you love me..." might as well as be the guy this time.

My gfs always beat me to the punch.

chicago is always good for stripping away her panties,
LOL!

The only problem with that, is some of the younger posters might go, "CHICAGO WHO?"

Then you are a gonna feel old.

:P

I second that "Chicago" recommendation. Journey always did a good job for me too, although I guess my opinion may not be of that much import here; I've been out of the singles scene for more than 10 years.

'Joy in Repetition' Always seem to get my ex in the mood, mind you she was a huge Prince fan, so the results might varry for others.

It may seem shitty to some people but 'Cruisin' by Huey Lewis and Gweneth Paltrow is surprisingly good. Despite how I am on the boards, I'm usually easy going when I'm hanging out. This song is good for it too. ;)

I like the sad love songs so my favorites would be:

1. Last Kiss (Oh, Where, oh where, can my baby be...)
2. Wild World, Cat Stevens
3. Wild Horses, The Rolling stones
4. Must have Been the Roses, The Greatful Dead (About loving a GHost)
5. Paint it Black, The Rolling Stones (hey, it's about loving a Ghost as well)

Frankly, I prefer genres like House Music, Jungle, and Digital Hardcore, than "love songs", but I still like these songs.

Mandy Moore - Cry
Faye Wong - Eyes On Me (OST Final Fantasy VIII)
Pet Shop Boys - Jealousy
Tommy Page - Shoulder To Cry On
Gina T - Sail Over Seven Seas
Maria Nayler - Naked & Sacred

And.. I don't know whether the following is really love song, I just like it:
Moby - Porcelain

Here's the lyric:

Porcelain

In my dreams I'm dying all the time
As I wake its kaleidoscopic mind
I never meant to hurt you
I never meant to lie
So this is goodbye
This is goodbye

Tell the truth you never wanted me
Tell me

In my dreams I'm jealous all the time
As I wake I'm going out of my mind
Going out of my mind

There's always the song I requested during my sister's wedding reception.

Hey little sister what have you done
Hey little sister who's the only one
Hey little sister who's your superman
Hey little sister who's the one you want
Hey little sister shot gun!

Has something to do with being a Twenty something, and pissed off at your pregnant teenaged little sister.

AC/DC's "Rock-N-Roll Ain't Noise Pollution".

I had a drunk stripper fall off of the runway on top of me while that
song was playing. :D

Better yet, it was late on an Easter Sunday.

For getting her in the mood, I usually go with Chicago and Journey like Mike said, but Sade works really well too. Depending on the chick, Led Zeppelin can do it too.
