Does this mission we will finally get an answer to the age old (um, kinda :P) question of the moon landing??

I hope so... but i do wonder what will happen if it turns out the conspiracy theorists were right

Don't worry. There will be new conspiracy theories about the faked euro landing.

And then more about the Chinese landing, and the Indian landing after that. :P

It wont be able to see the 6 landing sites I think. It's going into lunar orbit, not the surface, and its going to map the surface using an Xray radar thingy, rather than a telescope, Infact, being only 2 metres across, that tiny thing prolly doesn't even have room for a telescope. But even if it did... the conspiricy theorists would just say that was faked too. Indeed some conspiricy theorists are so dumbass that they think nothing can get to the moon at all, because it's a spirit being making a soul journey around the earth searching for the sun, which also goes around the earth. :P

Wouldn't it be better to take two conspiricy theorist with them to the moon and have one of them remove their helmet?

Answer the question? What fucking question? NASA landed on the moon and that is fact.

About the conspiracy theory:

I think the biggest gripe the theorists had about the landing was when Neil Armstrong actually set foot on the Moon. Apparently someone had to already have been standing outside, filming him climbing down that ladder. Or so they claim.

There was another claim where Washington edited that famous Armstrong scene in place of whatever was the actual landing.

Anyway, all this is from the theorists.

I think that the most likely explanation is that a "backup" was shot somewhere, who knows where and by who, so that in the event of something going wrong with the transmissions from the moon, it could be aired to the world as a stop-gap measure.

Dear Alyseka....

It wasn't very nice of you to fucking edit my post you cuntbitch. Fucking hell
is it against the rules now to point out something that fucking Scotty said
during TOS, along with any criticism of SB with you around?

You want to criticize Trek, do it in the right forum. You want to criticize SB, do it in the HOS. Stay on topic in this forum.

big debunking site for conspiricy theorists. Proving that not only was it not fake, but also why each piece of evidence is either just technical glitches, or is infact proof that the images can't be taken on earth (ie the effects cant happen with, for instance, Air present in the sky. lol)
