i was just thinking about this the other day...

what are some nude scenes that nobody asked for or wanted to see? You know the kind, when they show a naked 300 pound old woman or the wrinkly ass of 75 year old man and all you can do is avert your eyes and say "god, who the hell that THAT would be a good idea?"

I think the worst one i can think of is Kathy Bate's nude scene in About Schmidt....shudder.

Whoppie Goldberg or Operah did one too, but im forunate to have never seen it. I think it was for Beloved or something.

Roseanne Barr once posed for Playboy. Luckily, I've never seen it.

Nothing tops Matrix Reloaded.

EDIT: Okay, so Trinity isn't some fat woman or anything but the movie could've been better without the scene.

Wild Things: I don't recall seeing Neve Campbell's breasts....noooo. Instead, we get a nice peek at Kevin's bacon.

Anyway, my vote's with Kathy Bates in About Schmidt, too.

We Americans have a fucked up culture about sex. In the rest of the world, a naked woman isn't always an erotic thing (although I must say I stand erect with my fellow Americans on the issue that a hot naked chick is always erotic), so a naked Kathy Bates doesn't have to be disgusting. Personally, I thought the scene was funny, and the shock value from the gasps of the other audience members was even better.

As far as Wild Things goes, someone warned me about the Kevin Bacon scene, so I closed my eyes. And it did have Denise Richards topless after all, so it's not all bad.

My old literature teacher once showed my class a video of the play Macbeth...a version that had been produced by Playboy. While I didn't mind Lady Macbeth running around with no clothes much, there was one scene where someone, Lady Macduff I think, was bathing her young son. That was just wrong.

You can see Kevin's Bacon in every film he does, even Apollo 13 has it.

Well, I, for one, could have done without the nude Kevin Bacon in "Wild Things," but I can't think of any right now (nor have I been able to think of one for the past 8 hours)...

Nude with invisible skin Kevin Bacon in The Hollow Man was pretty bad.

I'm also not a big fan of nude Michael Douglas in the director's cut of Basic Instinct

Also, I'll have to mention "Starship Troopers" where Dina Meyer gets naked but Denise Richards stays clothed for all of the movie.

And they didn't forsee the audience wishing that Carmen would have died instead of Dizzy.

There's a lameass grope scene with Denise Richards in the deleted scenes on the DVD. It was pretty stupid and deserved to be dumped. Now what they say in the dialog may have been useful to flesh out the characters a bit but in general the scene sucks.

I stand by the statement that the sex scene in Reloaded was just not necessary. I mean, I personally could have gone without seeing Neo's ass, and I just don't think Trinity is all that hot. Plus, the whole thing about them groping and dry humping every time they are in a room together is just an unneccessary, and somewhat unwelcome, distraction.

Same goes for the Zion orgy, while some nice looking chicks got drenched with water in there, it still wasn't necessary, IMHO...

Now, having a bit of a love story in the movie is alright, but damn, they just tried to 'sex up' this movie too much.

Its Hollywood`s way to please the morons who want to see sex in every freaking movies they make.

yes but that was more than made up for with the shower scene! and besides, Dina Meyer was yummy!

There used to be a show on C4 here in the UK called euro trash. It was a horrible show filled with "i didn't need to see that!!!" moments.

Ditto, it was bad on so many levels. Not only did it destroy the flow of the movie, but it was not tasteful. No lead up, just 'lets run away and have sex.' They didn't need to show it; they could have talked romanically for a little, kissed then gone off screen. Not only that, but now we can't show it at a youth group for movie night

Ok not only do we see the actual incident with the chidlhood rape...
but we see her drugged out, fucking someone, and the patch is gone replaced by a very effective FX job (I hope) along with the wrist scars and track marks...
