Hallmark's Trek & Wars Ornaments for 2003
Out of the new ones I only really like the Tie fighter (with sound, oh yeah) but there are some decent figures for those of you who like those kinds of ornament.
The Ornaments are:
Trek: The Scorpion with Data & Picard, Captain Archer, and T'Pol.
Wars: Tie Fighter (with sound), Clone Troopers, Padme Amidala (ATOC), Yoda (ATOC)

My mom and dad generally get me whichever SW ship is out at the time, so I'll likely see the TIE fighter this year...

I have the complete Trek Ships collection, sans the Enterprise-nil and the Ent-E...
Gonna have to get the Ent-E off Ebay, and maybe the Ent-nil, as well as this one.
<edit>
Just looked them up, could they not have gotten anything other than this POS Scorpion ship off Nemesis? I mean, gimme an Excelsior or something. Heck, a NX-01 ornament would be fine! (not the pewter one, already have it, nice display model, but too heavy for the tree)

That TIE Fighter would look mighty nice next to my X-Wing...

They need the TOS movie era Enterprise. An Excelsior would also be nice. An Akira, Ambassador, Nebula, and Miranda would also kick.
Anyway I have all but the TOS Enterprise and DS9. The later ornaments were damned good for the most part. The earlier models had worse details and the lights weren't so great, but once they did the first BoP the detail levels were inredible. The E-E model was also nicely done. I would really like to see them try the Constitution Refit.

My parents have hung an old Enterprise toy as our tree-topper ever since they were married. No sissy stars or angels for us!
I think we've got every Trek & Wars ornament they've produced. We even have a little fake tree to put all the miniature ST/SW ornaments on. Last year, we bought another, larger fake tree to put all of our ST/SW ornaments on. They had started to crowd out all of the other ornaments on our tree.
We were damned lucky to get the first one, too. They were effectively sold out for months before the ornament was released. We were in Spokane visiting my grandparents, and we went on their waiting list too...and they called us, told us someone didn't pick theirs up, and it was ours.
The thing still sells for between $150 and $300 on Ebay.

I have all the Star Trek ornaments, but I've been a little unsatisfied with the recent offerings. They just don't have the appeal of the earlier ones.
Oh, and you forgot about C-3PO, the latest in the true SW series.

Ooops.
They did sort of ruin him in AOTC with all of the lame humor.

The Borg ship and DS9 kinda sucked, but I thought the Delta Flyer was a rather cool design. It was colorful and the lighting they used complimented it. IMO the worst ones in regards to lighting is the E-D and Voyager. Both try and light up as much as they can with as few lights as possible. They used the same technique with the E-E but they actualy pull it off and the ship looks rather nice.
