Hey Talen, I'm curious...
Which ROTC programme are you going to? I imagine it must be relatively hard to get into the Marine ones.

Thank you for explaining that. My apologies about that, also--but I have a poor response percentage to PMs in general or even E-mail for that matter.Enforcer Talen wrote:not rotc as such, its a weekly thing at the recruiting station.

Anyway, Marines go to the Navy ROTC with the rest of us Swabbies. Though (in my unit at least) they have an extra day of PT and (obviously) different summer training routines and such.

Next to my USAR post is a Marine Reserve; they do a 'pre-boot' weekend program for those who are about to join... not a bad idea.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!
