Color of Night

I know we've had several "worst movies" type threads around here and I think I mentioned on one of those threads that I had probably blocked some of the worst movies out of my mind.
Well, I proved that hypothesis today...and then some.
I bought the Bruce Willis movie Color of Night DVD for about $9 today. While watching it I was forced to remember just how fuckin' awful this movie is.
It's not entertainingly bad, it's just bad.
This movie wasn't even worth the cost for all of the Jane March nude scenes.
I have to say that I saw this movie on broadcast tv once and I think that actually the super edited version is a better film than the "director's cut".
On so many levels this film is just awful.
The one good thing is Ruben Blades' cop character. He's kind of funny.
The other funny (after the fact) part is the "sex" theme music. What I mean is there is a rather normal score until Bruce Willis' and Jane March's characters start going at it and then this "porkin' theme" kicks in.
It's like they're trying to make the music sound romantic or something but it just doesn't work.
I always wonder what it must be like to be an actor and go to a big premier of your new movie and then realize in mid screening that it royally sucks. That's got to be one of the worst career moments ever because for the rest of the movie you know that you are still going to have to face your friends who've just seen the movie. Even worse, you might have to go on a publicity tour promoting the film.
