Stupid Damn People (rant)

You know... if you have a child that's about to enter school in the US, you're expected to have your child's Official State Birth Certificate in order to prove the child's birthdate.

This is something that parents are informed about back in 'Kintergarden Roundup", held between January and March every year. The schools make sure to tell them that they need to bring Official State Certificates to present to the school. Schools even provide applications for the parents to fill out and mail in with payment for the Official State Certificate.

Not the hospital copy. Not the County copy. the Official, State-Certified, Raised-Seal copy of the record on file at the Dept. of Vital Registration. Everyone with me so far?

So why do so many dumbfucks wind up crawling into our office the VERY DAMN DAY school starts whining about "the school won't let my child stay unless we give them a birth certificate". These parents bitch, whine, and moan AT ME, because the school told them the county copy that the parents spent five to ten dollars on with its fancy shiny gold seal wasn't good enough.

And even worse, these parents can't take the time to drop by themselves, so they send a relative.. such as a Cousin, or the childs Aunt or Uncle. StateLaw sez: ONLY IMMEDIATE FAMILY SUCH AS PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS CAN PICK UP A CERTIFICATE.
So what happens then? I get bitched out by the AUNT!

Now.. is it *REALLY* that hard to listen to what the school tells you to do and get it right the First Fuckin' time?

Nope, not at all.

Incidentally, where do you work at? And if you're considering a career change, avoid the mortgage industry: their multiple offspring make up the majority of the customers...

Evidently...yes.

But look on the bright side: at least the school will teach the kids to take responsibility for themselves and their actions...oh, wait, no they don't.

Yep, we're fucked.

When I take over the world, I'll make sure this is fixed. Amongst many other things.

Well, only if I don't beat you too it. But I'll tell you what, if I take over the world I'll let you be one of my generals. And if you take over the world you'll let me be one of your generals. Ok? :D

But yes, either way. Such idiots shall be destroyed.

The contempt one would have for people who don't realize this would have to depend on how clearly the policy is publicized by the school.

Maybe you should put it up in big bold letters on the wall. :P Then when they come in and start bitching, tell them to STFU and read the sign. :D

They get an official state letter in the mail. It's not that hard to open it, if you've had a decent education. Of course, the only way I got this education was from my parents, and they're out of the ordinary, so...

Blame the parents, most are dumb fucktards anyhow
