Around home, whenever something that happens, I just return fire. Go out back, pull out the ol' 12 gauge, and shoot it off a few times. But then again, if this as an urban area, that might not be a feasable idea.

That actually works. My white trash neighbors (read: rednecks) were blasting their shitty country music at all hours of the night during their little party on the 4th of July. Well, at 1am I got sick and tired of trying to sleep through that shit (I can usually sleep through anything) so I called the police on the assholes. It wasn't 5 minutes till the squadcar showed up and made them cut it off. They bitched and moaned about it (and one of them nearly got arrested for threatening the officer!) but caved in. They never found out who called the officer over, but I don't give a rats ass if they knew it was me. If they tried anything to hurt me....lets just say this 20 guage shotgun would sure ruin their day.

I wouldnt really worry about it. Its summer time. In the summer time you stay up late with your friends blasting loud music and partying and annoying all the neighbours. If its really bad, someone else will call the police because noise pollution is a crime--but its late august so cops are a little more lenient with that stuff.

My advice: enjoy the last weekend of summer with some friends, beer and loud music of your own.

Assuming it is summer where you live, perhaps during the day, when they're all asleep, blast some country at them.

Have you tried talking to them? As long as they aren't too big of assholes, and you're cool about how you ask them, it shouldn't be too difficult to just ask them to keep it down once it starts to get late.

Just go up to them one day and tell them you don't care if they party or not but just try and keep it down a little bit at late night. Most people if you're cool about it will try and oblige.

They know that if they piss you off the cops will eventually get called, and most people prefer to have as little to do with the police as possible. I know I don't know your neighbors but it's worth a shot.

Thats why I try to stay on good terms with my neighbors, they know we're a bunch of twenty year olds and that we're gonna party. We just try not to get it going to lud late at night. It doesn't mean we won't have people partying over here till four but we usually turn the music down around twelve or one ont he weekends and if it's a weekday we'll chill it out earlier.

But one piece of advice, when you go over to talk to them don't do it during one of there parties, try to talk to one of them during the day. That way they won't have a bunch of dumb ass friends over telling them to ignore you. It's a mob mentality, people are usually much more reasonable one on one.

If that doesn't work, then call the cops. Even then I'd still go over first and say something like "We're about to complain to the cops if you don't quiet down," at that time most people will start to leave. You don't want to start a fued by getting a bunch of people in trouble.

Dude, it's (c)rap, that shit has no business even existing. I would be more than livid if I was dealing with that, hell, I would already be getting even.

Btw, I used to deal with this almost nightly from the idiots across the street, nothing is worse than 25+ teenagers playing basketball, every fucking light on the fucking house on, and a row of about 15+ cars lined up down the street, at least half of which have the windows down, all of those playing various forms of (c)rap at full volume, usually on badly tuned decks with blown subs...

In short, the laser pointer got used to turn off their light sources, and I would stand on my roof yelling at them at the top of my lungs to turn the shit down, and having all of my lights aimed straight into them so they couldn't hit me with the golfballs and rocks they invaribly started throwing at my house, and I usually had my techno/rave music blaring to drown out their (c)rap.

And yes, typically this was at 3-4AM, and I live in a *very* nice neighborhood (house value: $350K+). The only time I would get real evil is if there was a test in one of my classes the next day, my reasoning being that if I was going to flunk it on account of their thoughtlessness and inconsiderate actions, then I would make them suffer for every minute of their time making me suffer.

After a couple months of this they stopped doing it, and when they would, they would actually quiet it down. they were not bad people, just annoying.



At anyrate, just call the fuzz on'em. Say you think they're selling drugs or some shit and overall just disturbing the peace. Another thing that usually works is tell them you think there are minors drinking booze.

When it's 3 fucking AM and the goddamn trash across the street are out in their shitbox cars in the parking lot with the cocksucking rap 'artists' blaring out of their POS woofer boxes at levels fit to wake the dead, it's a goddamned problem.

We have a noise ordinance, but it's only a small fine.

I've already written to my city councilman proposing that the penalties be increased to forfeiture of the equipment, impounding of the vehicle, and a $1000 fine for the third offense. Let's see the motherfuckers when their ride is sitting in the police impound yard waiting for them to come up with the $1k.

Personally, I think there must be an inverse relationship between penis size and subwoofer diameter.

Egads, I really do hate inconsiderate assholes....especially when it comes to noisy neighbors.

I live in an apartment, next to some bitch. We share a wall for our master bedrooms. Anyways, she has her phone in her bedroom, which is fucking LOUD. And it always rings off the hook past midnight.

On top of that, she loves to slam doors and shit and occassionally (maybe twice a week) I am awakened by a loud bang from next door. She used to have her TV running alot, again, loudly. I had to complain to the apartment manager on that one. The manager talked to the bitch and told her to knock it off. The apartment manager then told me to call her if I had any further problems.....and to call the cops if were happening at night. Well guess what?

A month ago, the bitch was fighting with her boyfriend.....at 3AM!!! Screaming, cursing, banging, holy shit this went on for about 10 minutes with no end in site. That's when I had enough. I called the cops on their asses and reported a possible case of domestic violence. HPD showed up about 20 minutes later, banging on their door with Maglites......and the fools wouldn't answer it. One of them peeked out the window and the cops drew their guns screaming: "Open the fucking door!" LOL Fucking bitch. I hope she moves.

It's the idiots in their cars that annoy me.
honestly, I think it should be deemed antisocial behaviour to play loud music on your car stereo at all houss of the night, especially when driving through urban reidential areas.
