Ever been shot with a b-b gun

Well I was tonight at 7:10 local time. We were out filming a war movie and the guy playing a sniper in the scene takes aim and hits me in the middle left chest. I then squeezed the b-b out and went home to put a bandaid on it. The strange thing was that it hurt for only 2 minutes and then the pain went away. Also everyone else was freaking out and I am taking it the best.

So has any one else been shot before?

Only about 30 times.

My friends and I threw a rather interesting and sadistic party in which we shot each other with bb guns for no other reason that to watch each other suffer.

Some assholes were driving around town in Toronto a few weeks ago and shooting off BB guns randomly at pedestrians. They shot a 5 year old boy right in the eye. It blew his eye out and lodged pellet fragments in his brain.

They thought it was a laugh riot and kept driving, until they found themselves surrounded by cops pointing real guns at them.

He was not even really trying to hit me. He was about 70 feet away and the bb probally lost some height as it flew.

Pellet or soft plastic?

I've been shot with both, the latter multiple times in games we call airsoft.

But yeah, little punk 15 year olds with BB guns need to be thoroughly spanked with the butt of their rifles.

You should never shoot exposed flesh, its quite possibul for a BB to penetrate you skin and get inside a vein or artery. Once that happens it can travel a considerable distance until it lodges in some place narrow like a joint. Then you need surgery.

Stop saying how stupid I am. I know that. I will say this once and only once unless people bring it up. It was an accident.

True... Though the bb guns were too low powered to penetrate skin and soft plastic bbs were used

The danger was minimal.

Heh, I got hit a couple times in BB wars with Red Ryder BB-guns. They would just sting a bit, it hurts worse to pinch your skin with your fingers. We were smart and wore goggles during these wars, believe it or not.

By the way, in case anyone's curious, the lawyers for the 17-19 year old teenagers who maimed the 5 year old boy and caused him permanent brain damage with that pellet gun to the eye are now arguing that it was just an error in judgement, and that they're too young to be held responsible for their actions.

They're lawyers; they certainly can't say 'Yeah, our clients are fucking retards, lock them up forever', though I certainly hope that happens.

Of course indiscriminently(sp) shooting up neighborhood was a lack of judgement. But at 17-19 years old, a person should know that doing so could be very fucking dangeous, and that injury to a child could result.

Shooting your friend, at 10feet, taking carefull aim as he tries to conceal hiself in a pillow fortress is one thing, but shooting without regard for human safety...

Well, I know that you were filming some kind of war film, or something, but I must ask:

Why did you guys decide to use bb guns and actually shoot at each other?

And how old are you, by the way?

I remember hearing about these kids riding around one city a while back that had a high powered (as in one of the professional ones that can knock a man down) paintball gun. They had loaded it with blood-red paintballs, and were driving around shooting pedestrians (young, old, in between), homeless people, and anything that looked like a target, such as other cars. Numerous people went to the hospital because they had thought they had actually been shot. These kids had been filming it all, too, and they were laughing and joking like it was the best thing in the world.

I was sitting here watching the film thinking, 'You sick little bastards, I hope that you sit in jail for about 50 years for this...damn morons.'

BB guns because one of the cast had one that was a rifle. We needed the rifle because the scene was of a training mission. Him shooting me was an accident.

I am going to be 17 in october. We are making this film for a contest.

By the way the movie is based on Private Lynch the POW. A spec ops unit goes to rescue a POW in North Korea

They knew what they were doing was wrong. The difference is they did not care it was wrong and did it anyway.

And why do you have to throw in these sanctimonious dripping-with-contempt lines every now and then? Give the man the fucking benefit of the doubt.

Wait, was it a pellet gun or a BB gun, there not the same thing. But either way if that's a successful defence I don't know what to say that wouldn't advocate large amounts of physical violence and courthouse burning.
