There's a guy at work who doesn't like chocolate. So that got me thinking, is he unique? Or could there be other weirdos like him? So without further bullshit....the chocolate poll!

My favorite is 70% Lindt Dark Chocolate. Delicious! :)

Chocolate is Chocolate. Whatever it is, it'll be gone in less than a minute if I'm around ;)

*reads thru the list of chocolates... and descretely wipes awy the drool....*

Umm... I'd have to have a sample of each before I can make my final decision.

Oh.. and I'd need samples of chocolates from Germany and Belgium, just to make sure I do not discriminate against any company's product. And I think you forgot to include Godiva as one of the listed chocolates. They do make solid chocolates, as well as their famous truffles.
To be fair, I will exclude all white chocolate from the test subjects, as white chocolate should be measured only against itself.

I had so many companies ready for the poll, but the poll couldn't accept no more.

On taste, Ghirardelli. But it's too damn expensive. Hershey's tastes great at a reasonable price.

I like dark chocolate in general.

Cadbury dairy milk chocolate. For me it was either that or Nestle who make Milo. I chose Cadbury.

Hershey's always enters (and later, leaves) my stomach with a mission accomplished, and as a bonus I can actual afford it. Cookies & Cream Hershey's bars were the best of them all, but they don't make them anymore. :(

Bah! You've excluded Fazer from the list. They make excellent chocolate and it's very reasonably priced too. Not quite as sweet as most foreign chocolates, which is just as well. I normally like sweet stuff, but chocolate is where I make an exception (unless it's white chocolate).

All in all, white Toblerone is my favorite, followed by Fazer's chocolates (they get number one rating as a whole).

Seriously, what's the point of white chocolate? Wouldn't a stick of butter and a little vanilla essence be just as good, but much cheaper?

I prefer Swiss chocolate. Or Ritter chocolate, Milka chocolate.

Once had an american chocolate. I think it was Hershey. It was less than pleasing... :x

You gotta have Ghirardelli.

I've never been on the Hersheytown or whatever tour, and I'm sure it's a humdinger, but I do know that everyone has to go to Ghirardelli square once in their life. There's no tour that I know of, but they have a store that's practically made out of chocolate. They've got one at Pier 39, too, IIRC. God damn that place kicks ass.
