Quite right. Once upon I time I was employed to beat pheasants. That's when the local peasants (such as I) march through the woods in line abreast to scare the carefully bred pheasants into the air and over the guns of their Lordships who are waiting by their Range Rovers. And on this occasion, I observed one doddering nonogenarian member of the gentry. His aristocratic mates loaded up a gun for him, carefully put it in his hands and gently pointed him in the right general direction. I swear, I saw this this guy close-up afterwards and he was literally blind. He managed to bag two. That's how much of a challenge this 'sport' is.

If they can't fly there's not much point to it, unless your intent to hunt with clubs.
