A football game between Southern and Grambling that happens weekend after Turkey Day. It's a MASSIVE hit with the Section 8 Set. So the French Quarter becomes quite unsuitable [:evil:] for gay-cruising (a favorite activity of mine and Dave's). And no, the 'fans' [:roll:] don't leave right away after the game, they like to stay the month. Eugh.

Glad to hear that Montcalm, and sad to hear that Einy. I too dislike mass sporting gatherings, though when we had the olympics a few years back I got an extra week of school holidays.
