A man was hospitalised with torn intestines after a friend, attempting a practical joke, pressed an air compressor to his backside.
The 48-year-old, a worker at an aluminium factory in the central Turkish town of Seydisehir, asked a co-worker to clean off the dust from his back with an air compressor, Anatolia news agency reported.
But the colleague instead pressed the device to his anus.
The victim underwent surgery, while his colleague was taken into police custody, Anatolia said.

That's disgusting. It's disheartening to see that some people just don't grow up. That's probably why they're working in the factory...

Working in a factory is nothing to laugh at. It is, after all the machines that drive our economies!
On another note, That was seriously uncool, he HAD to be pressing that thing REALLY hard..most factory jobs require denim or heavy cotton pants, per OSHA regs. I mean, he would have had to be trying to ram that airhose UP his ass for it to do that much damage, plus, (Again per osha regs) compressed air nozzles are to have pressure relief holes in the sides of the nozzle so those things CAN'T happen, so it would seem to me the factory could be sued for violating safety regs just as easily as the ass-rammer guy....of course, if the factory isn't in america, OSHA regs don't apply...methinks...
