I hate Hummers

Does anyone else in here actually hate these oversized gas-guzzling vehicles. i mean i can understand the Military and Law Enforcement having them, but why civilians. It would be different if you lived in the mountains but in the city is basically unnecessary. Here in DC we only get 5 feet of snow and thats because it may snow several days overs. We have elevations of only 2 feet high, thats only in SE Washington DC. Any comments.

There are two problems with Hummers:
- The size. They just get in the way, and you can't see around them.
- The drivers. They're usually rich self-centred assholes who act as if the road belongs to them.

Compensation for the small dick and/or clit

The new H2 is just fucking stupid. There's no point to buying a hummer which has had all its off road capability torn out to get better mileage and internal space. The normla ones are fine.

*Hummer Tailgates me flashing his high beams *Broad Daylight)*
*I Pull Over, going, OK, WTF, I sure as hell did nothing wrong...*
Driver want's to know where the turn off so he can drive up 4 mile trail, and take it to half dome.... (Erm, that's a foot path)
I have no problem with four wheel drive vehivles, they are kinda nessary around here. It's the weekend types who don't know what the fuck they are doing that drive me crazy.

I personally think the new H2 looks pretty cool. Ive never seen the inside of a civilian Hummer up close though. While , I would not buy on Im not about to get upset if someone else does. There are lots of things in all of our houses none of us really needs.

If I'm going to get a Hummer, I'd prefer the original (the H2 is basically on the same chassis as the Suburban, and while that's not bad, the real Hummer chassis is much more suited to off-roading). Better yet would be a surplus US Army HMMVV.

I want the Milsurplus ones...
they have a plate on the engine citing a "national security" exemption from
emmissions standards

I can't get a hummer round here, our streets are too narrow.

They don't really fit the streets here either. They and many SUVs fit into parking spaces even less than they fit on the streets.

Heck, the milsurplus ones run diesel/JP4 anyway so there is no need for emissions...At least in Texas.

It's not the small clit, it's their small breast size.

And I know of one instance in Papua New Guinea where a Hummer {one of the first ones IIRC} was beaten hands down by a Land Rover and Toyota Land Cruiser.

No, I think the record proof of Grey's First Law involves a thread that went from zero to massive orgies in about two lines.

I blame my language on this but I thought about lobsters.
Lobster = "Hummer" in Swedish.
Took me a while to connect to that uggly SUV

The original version is certainly not a SUV. It's a kickass 4WD all terrain vehicle that I'd love to drive. The reason why people grab perfectly good Jeeps and similars and transform them into ugly disfunctional luxurious road freaks is beyond me.

Possibul if they where both unloaded. Laden, no other 4x4 beats military grade Humvees.

What about the UNIMOG? Has there ever been a competition between these two? While putting them in the same class is quite a stretch, we use it analogous to the humvee in the german army and it is a 4x4. My money would ride on it in a standoff.
