I've been through a tropical storm and a tropical depression. I've also suffered sever after effects of a hurricane in the form of Floyd. But that’s it.

No, but where I live we seem to be fairly prone to heavy rains and the occasional tornadic winds. So, all in all, we don't get the ass pounding of a few days, we get the liesurely screw of a few months.

The question and answers are too damn vauge. I wasn't sure what you're asking, so I just said no.

Here in the practical centre of the US, we don't get hurricanes in Iowa.

No hurricanes, but I've had a couple of really touch and go mid-30 degree days with a light breeze, clear seas and white sand...

Yep. Some years ago, when I was on our annual trip to Montauk with my family, we were hit hard with a hurricane. Forgot which one, but we had to go to a mansion acting as a shelter. I remember we all had to use flashlights because the power went out. It was damned windy, as I saw trees and crap get blown around all over the place.

I live on Long Island. We've had some nasties pass through here. Blown down trees and power lines, some flooding, etc.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. We get...oh, that's right, our weather is absolutely perfect. Sorry about that.

Yeah, they're a great hockey team... OH! You mean as in physical hurricane. ;)

Actually, I live in central NC. We've been hit by more than I can remember.
David, Diane, Fran, Floyd, Hugo... and those are just off the top of my head.

I'm from Buffalo....snow, snow, and more fucking SNOW!

yeah, snow sucks as long as it´s not in the alps or some other mountains with slopes which you can use for winter sports.

We just trade earthquakes for our good weather. I have not lived through a hurricane, but in 1989 I was here for the Loma Prieta Earthquake. Thats the one most of you saw happen live during the World Series.

It is quite disturbing to see the street move like a wave on the ocean.

Hey Dalton. what county? I'm in Nassau. Damned budget crisis... :x

Let's see...

Hurricanes, check
Earthquake, sorta check. It wasn't a big one and was just an aftershock. Felt like a F-15 flew over and broke the sound barrier (which I have been witness to before at the beach).
Snow, check, but NOTHING like up in Buffalo. And what really sucks is that people down here in the South do NOT know how to drive in it.
Ice, triple check. I HATE ICE!
Evil Dictators, does Clinton count? Oh no, that's incompetent dictators, which we've had plenty of.
Sun and heat, this summer? check, check and check. Hottest on record I'm sure. And remember, it isn't the heat, it's the damn humidity!

The worst weather, IMO, is freezing rain. That shit can throw on 3-4 inches of ice before you realize it!
