I read in the paper today that Berke Breathed, the man behind Bloom County and Outland, is doing a new comic called Opus, coming out in late November! Unfortunately, it's only on Sundays and apparently it's supposed to take up a lot of space.

Interesting. Bloom County was a very 80's cartoon strip. I wonder how the new one will fit for this decade.

Sometimes, but I get the impression that Trudeau is at a different place in his life, not quite the mental hellraiser he used to be, and his comic/art reflects that. Still good stuff, just from a different perspective.

I did enjoy the "Duke is running Iraq" storyline though, even if it was killed off quick.

Hm, interestingly enough the blurb about Breathed was on the same page as the story on Doonesbury and the masturbation gag that got pulled.
