Stuff. Mostly bad, but the annexation of America by Prime Minister Wong will make up for most of it.

Bah, we all know Bush will crown himself Emperor Bush the 1st and march on Toronto. Soon all shall kneel before the might of the American Empire!

I'll be in my bunker in The Middle of Nowhere, waiting for the economy to bottom-out and/or the bombs to drop.
Oh, and i'll make sure I've brought a woman along by then, too. Can't really appreciate anarchy unless you've got someone to talk to, share ideas with, and have steamy sex action.
That was kinda the problem with
Walden. Then again, it
was Thoureau, afterall...

I will turn 42 years old. I will probably still be living in the Bay Area. Maybe in my condo, but hopefully I will be able to have purchased a townhome/house by then.
North Korea will most likely have collapsed by then. Hopefully it will be with the least loss of life.
Water rights will become a serious issue in the Western states, not that it isn't already.
Lost of baby boomers will start retiring, how this will impact financial markets will be interesting to see.

The worlds first cloned human.
"Who wants to be a Millionaire?" and quiz shows like it will bite the dust, thanks to cochlear receivers.
Stephen King will go completely blind.
Science will rediscover that coffee is good for you. Then rediscover how bad it is. Repeat 5 times.

Yeah me too. It's only a rumour I heard but, and I just got this from his website:
Is it true that you're going blind?
No, I'm not. I have a predisposition--and it's a genetic thing--to macular degeneration and that's a disease you can read about on the internet. It eventually results in blind spots and a loss of vision but I don't have any of the symptoms yet-just that predisposition and I think it's something that I may have to face in the future, but, no, I'm not going blind
How good is the Dark Tower series? Recognise my Avatar?

I can't really make any political predictions, but I'm betting that Moore's Law will continue for at least that long and someone will have a working 32-bit quantom superconductor (hopefully my group

(No, I'm just an undergrad assistant tyring to further clean up the power supply)). Having been amazed by Aido and the Segway, I'm pretty sure we'll see substantial developments in robotics. Drones will become more prevalent in the airforce, and more weapons will become "smart." Infact, more and more consumer products will have computer chips in them. Most 1-800 numbers will connect to computers with speech recogniton.
China looks set to put a man in space this fall, so I wouldn't put it past them to get a man on the moon within 10 years. Europe will further decline economically in relation to the US, and we'll probably see some actual deflation. Basic resources like metal will continue to get cheaper, and the known oil reserves will remain big enough to support us for "the next twenty years" like they have for the past 60 or so.
