Ok, I got a bit hyper while using voice chat with a few people, so now I'm offering up space on my server for you to upload SHORT sound bytes so everyone can hear your pretty little voices. Clickitty! The format will be as follows:

http: //66.176.46.28/sounds/username.extension

where username.extension is the name and extension of the file. Preferably this should be your username here on SDN. If I find any 1+ meg sound bytes on there, they will be deleted.

I dont think the sheer bizarre range of my voice extends to microphone recordings, whilst I have a standard northern england accent, it also incorporates occassional upper class accent, geordie twang, scots dialect and accent, yorkshire swearwords and pronunciation and doubtless soon will feature slight Americanisms... but if I can find a microphone, then I'll post...

I'm unable to hear any of your voices except for Chardok (great voice by the way. Cartoon worthy!). I guess the reason I can only hear Chardok's voice is that he recorded it in mp3.

You...can't hear wav files? Curious, but no matter, the second to last file of mine is recorded in mp3 format, as are several of the files in the big Sample.zip I have.

Try clicking on the link and hit open file. If you have winamp, it should open and play it.

That's the only recording i have on hand and i'm too lazy to make a new one. My voice is slowed down in it.

Download winamp or any other music/sound program. Save the files to your computer and play.

Put part of the blame on the crappy microphone. I sounded a bit deeper yesterday while taping James for an interview assignment. I always sound kind of fucked up with a computer microphone.
