Scary dream

I dreamed Unicron was on his way towards Earth (keep in mind in this dream there were elements of Galactus from the Fantastic Four). I managed to contact him, and I said I would find him another planet to devour if he would leave Earth alone. So I went to work on my big-ass telescope and found one- in the nick of time, as Unicron was tired of waiting. I dreamed that I stood on my lawn and could see him in the sky- he looked as big around as a dinner plate, and I managed to convince him to leave Earth alone and go eat this new planet. He left, his finl message saying he would return if this world wasn't inhabited (in the dream he could only feed on worlds teeming with organic life- another FF influence).
Anyway- Bug-Eyed Earl- Herald of Unicron. I think I'll choose that as my custom title when I earn it.
So what weird movie and tV inspired dreams have you had? I didn't put this in Sci Fi or Fantasy because the movies mentioned could conceivably come from any genre.

I had one where I was trekking through a swamp for no apparent reason, and there were some large, jagged objects involved. That was a fairly unsettling dream.

Last night I dreamt that I won $10 million in the lottery (a rather unlikely event since I very rarely buy lottery tickets, but dreams don't have to make sense). However, in one of those cruel jokes the dreamworld plays, I woke up before I could start spending it.

I never usually have visual dreams, but two nights ago, I dreamt that George Bush was checking my immigration documents for entry into a supermarket, but my friend behind me didnt have hers, so she gave me a huge hug and pretended we were a couple so she could get it as well. Truly bizarre stuff.

I had a dream that this massive bear was attacking my family and I at the bank of one of those water rides they have at amusment parks. It was so fast, and was making this chuga chuga sound like a locomotive. It just sprang out from behind a really big tree. Chuga chuga *swipe*.

Just had this weird dream that i was fighting Apophis in an arena like Geonosis, strange part is Apophis had changed bodies,he or maybe i should say it was now in the body of a hot chick,so i used everything i could get my hands on,first i throw a spear at her she remove it the i used a bow and arrow, same thing, after that we were fighting hand to hand over a shovel, the shovel broke in two so i proceed to strike with both end of it a la Jackie Chan,at that moment i woke up.
Another dream in the long list of unfinished dreams.

My dreams tend to be visually graphic - but then, I toss and turn a lot in my sleep, which often results in me sleeping in rather twisted positions, which makes me uncomfortable, which makes me have nightmares.
And I don't even WATCH gory movies, but damn, my brain can scare the SHIT outta me when it is displeased.

Last night I dreamed about having sex with this chick I had a chance with two semesters ago and passed up for a dead end and haven't really talked to since. Second one this week, but the wierd thing is that I NEVER have sex dreams. I can count on one hand how many I've had in the past couple years.

weirdest dream I have ever had. I basically dreamt an entire day of my life from waking up to going to school to coming home and watching tv to sleeping. Funniest dream was one where I realized that I was in a dream and could control what happened

When I was 9, I dreamt that there was a rumour that Batman was dead. I then put on my Batman costume, went out into the street, and danced around singing the "Batman" theme song in a high pitched Bee-Gees style voice. People spilled out into the street to watch me, ecstatically shouting "It's Batman! He's alive! He's alive!"

i've had dreams like that before, i'd convinced my self that 2 days had gone by, thing is they were really shitty days.
Luckily i was only dreaming, or else i would have just missed some very important stuff at school

Sorry for the necromancy, but I have to share this....
this morning, I was awakened by ye olde alarm clock at 5:15...hit the snoozer...again at 5:23...hit it again..back to sleep when....
I dreamt I was in some college with Bill Paxton (Hudson from aliens) and we were both in a frat. He lost a bet (Don't remember what bet, I was more of an observer in this dream) but the dream ended with him dancing outside the frathouse in the rain, In a dress, like snoopy does in the Peanuts cartoons. The dress was a pink strapless job, mid thigh length and poofy. and Blue by Eiffel 65 was playing.
Then I woke up at 6:46. the alarm had been going the whole time and I had 15 minutes to get up, shave, get dressed and head to work. I made it with 3 minutes to spare (Normally I'm half an hour early.) I HATE being late...but what a FUCKED UP way to start a day...with a dream like that....shit....

I often find myself able to control my dreams...once i realize they are dreams.
I used to have this reoccuring dream that i was being attacked by aliens, and me and some stranger were on a roof surrounded by them. One of the times, i realized it was a dream, and proceeded to comfort the person in my dream saying "don't worry, it's only a dream! dont worry!" Then i woke up to realize how stupid i was being in trying to comfort a fictitious person.

I had some fucked up dreams last night...i don't remember much of them, but i do remember it involved a mercenary team, and they were dickheads, fighting a massive plant of some kind that sucked peoples blood. I think it was V-Jolt from resident evil one.

I read Congo and had a dream that I was being attacked by the Gorillas from the book. Scarriest dream I've had of late, but I don't dream much (maybe 3/4 times a month) so that's not much of an accomplishment.

When I gain control of my dreams, I try to force myself to wake up. A simple way to accomplish this is to excersize the power of lucidity to the greatest degree I can think of at the time. For instance, I flung the building I was in out of the atmosphere and into space. My mind "rejected" this, and I awoke shortly.

I'm not sure if I've told the board this, but my bastard of a subconscious has now started dreaming within dreams. So now I'll be dreaming of something great happening, I wake up (still in the dream), question whether that was a dream, realise it wasn't then have a rather pleasant time. Then I actually wake up. I hate mornings.

I hate it when I dream about a massive test that I've completely failed, or some other grevious error on my part and then I wake up and for about thirty seconds I'm going "Oh shit".

I usually have dreams that involve mostly real people in situations that never/will never happen(ed). And I don't have nightmares, just dreams where someone messes something up, and am relieved when I wake up.

I used to have recurring nightmares of some psychopathic killer chasing me down and eventually killing me, which woud launch me back into conciousness.
The final dream I ever had about it--several years ago--I was sitting on a log over a cliff. The killer came up behind me, but I grabbed his arm and flipped him over the edge of the cliff. Never "saw" him again.

I once had a dream, where I was in my bed, on my back, sleeping with my arms at my sides. (Whenever I lay for a while on my back, or stomach, my hands and arms go numb, so I sleep on my sides)
I woke up and my arms were asleep. I knew the pins and needles of returning circulation would be bad, so I wanted to get it over with as soon as possible, by vigorous shaking of the limbs.
I could not, however, move my arms! Then I realized, that of course I couldn't move my arms, because I was still asleep!
So I woke up, and still couldn't move them. Then I realized, that I was still asleep, and trying to spare myself the pain of returning circulation!
So I woke up, shook my arms, and it hurt like hell for a few seconds!(Proof that I was finally awake being movement, and pain!)
A dream within a dream within a dream!
