I don't give a shit what people say i like Linkin Park, Creed and Blink 182.

THey all suck for the Most part Except Blink 182. They did Enema of the State and I hated them but I ended up forgiving them because their past shit was good and their new stuff was good, plus some of those songs of Enema of the State are good if you listen to them live.

Linkin Park has one, maybe two songs I can listen to without wanting to wrench my ears off.

The rest should have vocal chords cut and arms amputated to prevent noise pollution. In Timberlakes case he should be incinerated.

Blink 182 and William Shatner I rate above the others listed. Never heard of John Mayer.

As for John Mayer, he did the song 'Your Body Is A Wonderland", which radio stations play disgustingly often.

A bit of a twist on this was done on LiveJournal, where there is a set of bands in which you take the list, rate them from "who you couldn't live without" to "who you would die before listening to" or some such. Then you take out the last one, and add in another somewhere.

I like Creed. Admitidly it can be a bit preachy in places. However songs like Bullets and Who's Got My Back are decent rock songs. Weathered was a decent album IMHO.

By the way... you listed *far* too many bands of the same genre. Mix it up a bit, and it would be a much better way to do this. Considering, most of them are, indeed, crap.

Justin Timberlake - catchy songs = greater than nelly
William Shatner - shouldn't sing. or talk. but better than nelly
