Has Maddox turned into a hack?

After reading the last few entries of Maddox's "Best Page in the Universe," I used to think he was funny. Now, I just think he's become repetitive, extremely bitter, cynical, and will probably die a lonely lonely man..

They don't seem to be any more bitter than usual.

You're getting old. He's being his "normal" self.

Bwahaha.. "If you happen to swing by Pattay, be sure to check out the Tiffany show. You'll be hard-pressed to find chicks who look hotter than the models at Tiffany's, or you'll just be hard. The only problem is, they're all transvestites." Hahahahaha

Maddox actually is sort of repetative, and he really doesn't interest me much. He concentrates a little too much on being sarcastic and doesn't seem to give enough time towards the development of humour. Maddox does a lot of stuff that reminds me of how I gradually lost interest in Seanbaby: just too much of the same stuff over and over again.

Personally, I prefer Matt on X-Entertainment. He puts a lot more effort into the actual humour, and his articles are almost always very interesting on their own. :)

Actually, I firmly beleive he was cynical and bitter before he started "The Best Page in the Universe." It's just that now he has a soapbox. And besides, after a few hundred articles, how is it possible not to become a wee bit repetitive?

Maddox has changed a little bit since the beggining. If you've read his very first articles in 1998, he was whining and complaining about how his life sucked and stuff. He apparently grew out of that phase and is now content to rag on others. Which is fine; the site's hilarious.

Repetition is pretty unavoidable. At any one time you can find several rants about vegitarians, whales, and feminists. Most of them are still funny though.

Gotta agree with DGG...in the beginning all he would complain was his life sucking.

Personally since he stopped that and rags on others persay...it's funnier and he still makes insightful bits into some of the more moronic things that happen. I do enjoy his review of Signs.
