Yeah I tend to tune in with my roommates at about the 7th or 8th inning. I can't stand watching a baseball game all the way through; baseball's only exciting toward the end. Glad to see the Cubs finally making good on their "Wait til next year" promises.

Of course, I remain a Yankees fan. God help me if they play the Cubs, because my roommates are bigger than me and could kick my ass.

All right, celebrations over, now to concentrate on the ALCS. It looks good either Way. The REd Sox are pitching Pedro Martinez on Monday and he wont be readily availiable if they win, and Oakland has lost Mulder and Hudson to injuries. Oaklands playoff history against the Yankees aint so good either.

My campus went nuts. Just got back from a good old fashioned mob-walk. The mob started by blocking off an intersection on my street. We then began walking down the street, then saw cops, and everyone pretty much started bolting to the quad. Once there we overran the bridge. Then they started heading for the football field (about a mile walk) and so I came back. Waiting to see if there's anything else interesting going on right now.

They have been, quite a few times in recent memory, I'm pretty sure. I remember the Braves winning once (that was in the Dark Age of The Yankees, mid-90's I think), and then the Yankees began soundly trouncing everyone again.

I'm a baseball fan and I don't loathe the Yankees as much as I live here anyway. IMO, both teams here sucks as the Yankees need a good hitting lineup and GODDAMMIT it NEEDS A GOOD BULLPEN!!!
