Whoooo hooooo!!! Hockey season officially started tonight, and after an afternoon of some fancy footwork and badass plays, I've got ot say I'm glad it's back.

Topping off todays headlines is the last-second victory obtained by Detroit Red Wings Captain STEVE YZERMAN! Like he's gonna let a bad knee slow him down. Made it 3-2 against the LA Kings with 1.7 seconds left on the clock in the 3rd. Datsyuk and Whitney also scored, brilliantly.

Other hightlights include the Senators (a likely contendor for Lord Stanley's Cup, along with...Colorado *revulsion* and my boys, the Wings) thrashing the Canuks, Jersey going down 3-1, and Atlanta seeing victory 2-1.

All in all, a good way to start off the season. Anyone else catch the games? Highlights? Thoughts? Am I gloating (HASEK RULES!!!)? Yes!

The Devils and the Bruins tied 3 apiece Wednesday. The only team that lost 3-1 was the Ducks.

I should scan my pictures I took at Gm4 of that Red wings Series. I still have my huge "GET THE RED OUT" banner. I have some more cool stuff from Game four of the cup finals too. Damn It feels like so long ago I WAS ACTUALLY THERE! Holee shit.

The Detroit Red Wings are 2-0 in the season with their defeat of the Ottawa Senators today. The Senators played well, dragging the game into overtime, but were finally put down to sleep.

Hasek was 2-23 for goal-stopping, with the Senators being 3-19.

Take that! They were the #1 team in the Northern Division too.

Damn thrashers...oh well at least Jagr is starting to play like the old Jagr.

HAHAHA! The Red Wings continue their CANADA REVENGE TOUR by deafeating the Canuks in a heated match that came down to the wire, tied 2-2, when with one minute left Whitney scores!! The Canuks futiley attempt to make up for thsi in the last minute of the game, but Hasek stops their valiant attempts cold!

Highlight include Fischer checking some guy through the plexiglass, and Shanahan and Lindstrom (2 goals so far!) scoring. The Canuks played a good edge-of-your-seat game, and Hasek was 2-31, while Cloutier was 3-38.

This Saturday the Detroit Red Wings tackle the Pittsburg Penguins, be there! Later next week the Wings will continue their CANADA REVENGE TOUR when they take on the (Montreal?) Canadians! GO WINGS!!! W00T!!!!
