Currently in the Dilbert Weasel Awards Poll Atheism is second behind Hinduism as the weaseliest religion ( ). I realize most people like to say that being atheist takes a lot of faith, therefore it is a religion, but doesn't the actual term "A-theism" sort of imply that it's not a religion? I mean a religion without a diety is what...a philosophy? Just thought it was odd that atheism was included. I was not suprised that the list was in alphabetical order so atheism would show up on the top while appearing to be a non-biased positioning (which it probably was) but it certainly is a convienent choice where it is isn't it?

I guess the other thing I was wondering is what do so many people have against Hindusim? Did I miss something recently or is because of the multiple gods, not eating cows (that could do it, no burgers), what?:?


By the way France has a huge lead as the weaseliest country.

you read the graph wrong. Hinduism has about 1% weasel vote, where as catholicism got 22% and atheism has 23% with Islam at 37%. I think hinduism benefits from a gap of knowledge. Not too many people knwo much about the religion. If they knew some of the more significant problems with the religion, their vote would be allot higher.

That makes more sense. I really should have looked much closer when I thought Hinduism got higher votes than all the other groups.

Overall I kinda like the polls but the religion one bugs me. After all...Hinduism? Am I missing something here? And the whole Islam thing...doesn't someone think this is perhaps a tad bit jingoistic?

Yes the poll is REALY biased when it comes to Religion, You see a ton of fundie morons voting for Atheism despite what the fact Atheism claims(No god you get 100 years here then your worm food the end...)

VS Cathloasisim which not only has ELEVEN ways to get into Heavan not matter WHAT you do, and I mean ANYTHING
NTM the fact that Catholasisim used to SELL forgivness for any Sins....
NTM everything they have done over the years,

They should be up there with 100% of the vote but people don't want to admit it saddly....
