What a funny joke, Azeron. Reminds me of that one episode of Married with Children.

BTW, for the rest of you, twice as many people speak Mandarin Chinese than English.

Well, which version of "American"? Southern? Yankee? Midwestern? Western? Sioux? Crow? Cherokee?

I've been learning Spoanish for the last few years, and after that, I'd want to learn Japanese.

I also know pig latin, malapropisms, and my made-up alien language.

Learing Korean. And Azeron, "American" should only be considered a dialect of English, not its very own special languge.

I'm learning Spanish again, I forgot all the year of it I had in High School. I know Spanish isn't a very challenging language, but living in New Mexico and having the occasional hispanic guy say something to me and laugh I'd like to know whether to laugh with him or laugh at him after I attempt to rearrenge his anatomy

Passing on American as another language is as ridiculous and passing on ebonics as another language. Anyways, I'm learning Spanish still.

Excuse me, But English and Aussie are now dialects of American. American has surpassed its mother lanugage in influence and expressiveness, and English has been offically reduced to the language of men who liked being whipped. Here is a snippet of an typical conversation you would hear on a typical corner in London
a English Man - "So I teld me wife, hat I needed to get me bloody bum whipped with a real titsup catwhiper"
another English Man -- "by Golly, I hads one of those Sherlock Holmes moment, me and my wife had the same convesation, maybe we are married to the same wife!!"
Typcial Conversation on NYC corner
Typical American -- "Well we saw that the corportion was mismanaged, so we decided to buy it and turn it around for a profit"
Naother American -- "Which biz was it?"
Typical American -- "Bangladesh, we just have to bastardize thier rich cultural heritage first, and turn thier religious holy sites into theme parks"
As you can see, we have 2 cultures, and the American one is vastly superior.
