Happiest/Saddest moments in your life?

IF you get a life...

Saddest: Ok, I know there is almost NOTHING that beats losing a relative.

I was in love once with a girl, and she was also a very good friend. When I had the guts to tell what I feeled toward her, she was shocked (?), and slowly our friendship began to fade. It might be useless to say I was sad for losing both my chance with her and my friendship. With time, I understood there is other girls and friends in life, but God it was painfull at that time.

Happiest: A Christmas day where all my extended family was present. We didn't have much time to see each other usually, but at this particular occasion I feeled really somekind of connection between those people. Don't how to describe it, but it was like in those 50's tv show, where everyone is happy and nice. Yeah, I might sound strange, but it was kinda special.
What about you?

Saddest: Probably when my grandmother died.

Happiest: Any time I feel like a loves me. That's happened many times, and I usually found out they didn't love me. And, of course, the holidays.

Saddest - grade 4 to 5, watching one of my best friends slowly die from leukemia, up to the last moment when his family decided to pull the plug on life support. Out of all the people I know that have died that one's still the worst by far, the way it happened and how we were still so young then. Steve, I'll remember the times and joy we shared, always.

Happiest - getting to see one of my cuddly swimmer girls again for the first time in 5 years, and finding out that she's doing quite well and all in New Mexico of all places. We'd suddenly lost touch with each other about 4 years ago and it wasn't until last year that I managed to track her down again.

Anyway I can now relabily hit a Quater on a Stick at .5-.8Kms with Rifles but the mythic 2.2 Eludes me to this day though I have hit 1.4 and 1.62KM shots before

Saddest moment: Rebecca telling me that she was breaking off our relationship because of the shunning and constant berating from her relatives.

Happiest moment: having Rebecca come back to me after a few weeks and tell me that after thinking about it, she's rather stay with me and tell her relatives to fuck off.

Saddest- Thinking that a girl might actually go out with me, I was sadly mistaken when I asked one that I really liked. The look on her face was as if I were the most disgusting creature on Earth. I don't ask girls out anymore...
And when my grandfather died...

Happiest- When one of my writings was used as best in the State.

Saddest: Grade 10 aka my year of pursuing various girls, and not getting any of them.

Happiest: Finally finding a great girl who I liked and who actually liked me back.

Happiest: Hmmm I would say the time that I actually WON a free trip to Florida for a week all expenses paid at a fairly luxurious resort.

Saddest: I would say the time my dad got us into a bad car accident a 5 yrs ago on the way home from the cottage. No one from our family killed or seriously injured but the person we smacked into was badly injured (didn't die though) and my dad had a broken leg and rist. It was a real shock to me personally because I never thought such a thing would ever happen to us and it had happened on a perticularily crappy day when my dad had just finnished having a serious argument with his parents (one of the reasons the accident was his fault, he was speeding ridiculously cause he was really pissed off).

I can pick out one single moment for each, and even then, that is really hard.

Happiest: the 1 1/2 hours that included my first kiss about 1.25 hrs of the time.

Saddest: the singular moment that I found out my absolute best friend is moving to Washington. She doesn't know it yet, but she is still moving to Washington.............

It'd be nifty if I could win an all-expenses paid trip somewhere...Preferrably over-seas, :D

Saddest:
1. hmm, probably the day I realized the true state of my existance and life and all the junk that goes with such realizations.

Happiest: hmm, now thats hard... destroying a christian with my intellect and thus converting her to atheism... I'm rather proud of that
2. destorying someone with my intellect period
3. Buying the Trigun boxset

Interestingly enough none of my saddist days have anything to do with breaking up with a girl... gee I must be evil .

Saddest: Watching the stupidity of those around me and knowing that they are all like LEMMINGS running headlong towards the precipice to their doom and knowing nothing I can do will convince them to stop.

Happiest: Slamming this one guy's head against a brick wall 5 times in a hallway fight when I was a freshman. It's very satisfying to hear bone hitting brick. Kind of a hollow whacking noise.

My other happy moment was when I was playing water basketball in the pool at school and jumped 1/2 out of the water and came down and RACKED my shoulder really bad on the edge of the pool...

and then the ball landed right next to me, and I grabbed it with my hurt arm and whaled it all the way across the pool right into the trashbin the other team was using as a goal.

Kinda funny, but I guess that my life has taken such turns that some things that I once thought were unbearably sad, don't really register anymore. The one thing that was truly sad--each time I went to visit my grandpa at the hospital. I was in the 7th grade when his decline began, and he died in 1981. He died of a combination of lung cancer, heart attacks, and broken spirit, and was in a coma every time I saw him, which were almost all the times that I was old enough to remember seeing him.

*ahem*

Now, every day is like a blessing to me. So I guess the happiest thing to me is meeting my Amy last year. I get joy out of the simple things now, being with her, the pride of home ownership, and being surrounded by friends and family (including pets) who love me.

I guess the sad thing now is, each time I visit my Dad's side, seeing sad, angry people who distance themselves from each other and act pissed off all the time. At least Dad and I can have fun together.
