I say it goes 1) Kill Bill: Vol. 1, 2) Jackie Brown, 3) Pulp Fiction, 4) Reservoir Dogs. Incidentally, that's how I'd order the movies on overall merit as well.

Note that this is only concerned with the movies that Tarantino has directed, not his other projects (such as From Dusk Till Dawn, etc.)

Pulp Fiction takes the cake on this one. Tarantino's use of surf music as some of the main musical themes gave Pulp Fiction its unforgettable taste. Also, its a great album to play in your car or in your stereo because the tunes are diverse, and stand well alone more so than the other soundtracks that get dull after a while (like resevoir dogs and jackie brown). I haven't got Kill Bill yet, but while watching the movie, I was paying close attention to the score b/c The Rza was doing all the original music and he lays down the best beats in the rap genre. 20 years from now, we're still going to be see the Pulp Fiction soundtrack in jukeboxes in bars and pubs everywhere.

Wow......wow. Tough choice. I guess I'll have to go with Kill Bill, with Pulp Fiction following behind?

Reservoir Dogs probably used it to the best effect because there is only two major sequences that use prominent music. And afterall, how can any musical sequence stand up to the Stuck in the Middle With You torture scene? Pulp Fiction comes in a close second. I especially love Sam Jackson and John Travolta with the surf music.
