Thank you for saying that. I always thought of James Bond as the World's Shittiest Spy. What kind of SECRET agent are you when everyone knows who you are?

At any rate, those movies would more enjoyable if they were based more on the actual man.

Heh, I remember a stand-up comic who skit the way Bond would be given a legend that'd taken MI6 ages and tons of resources to make, yet he went and told the enemy his real name anyway.

Well, the inspiration is dead, as is the name. (James Bond died a few years ago. He was an ornothligist, a book by him was always on Ian Fleming's desk. Note the homage to him in Die Another Day).
