This question is mostly for other Canadians and maybe Americans too.

Where you live how much do you pay for a pound of beef?

5.99 for 4oz.

I only eat beef jerky. The only meat other than that I get is from take out places, frozen pizzas, etc. so I really can't say.

Around $3 for super cheap ass manky ground beef on one end, and then as high as you want to go for the good stuff. (though getting higher than about $20 would take serious work.)
A pound of fairly high quality meat, though, would be around $6-$8 I think.
