ONDON, Oct 16 — More than half of Britons could have breath that smells worse than their pet’s, according to a survey released Thursday. And women are the worst offenders, with three out of five failing a sulfur emissions test, according to research by toothpaste manufacturer Aquafresh.
“SOME MOUTHS may be dirtier than cat litter,” dentist Brian Grieveson said in a statement that accompanied the research.
“Most people in the UK do not realize that cleaning your tongue is as important as cleaning your teeth,” he added.
Scots had the best oral hygiene, with only 10 percent suffering bad breath, compared with 27 percent in London. Throughout the nation, 52 percent were rated at a level that could be worse than that of a pet animal.
“We are one of the last countries to understand the need to clean our tongue, with people in America and parts of Europe practicing tongue cleaning routinely,” said Grieveson.
Secretaries were the freshest profession, achieving 100 percent freshness in the survey of 1,000 people, while retail staff fared worst and received the warning: “You could be losing sales.”

Oi vey...although i'm sure it was influenced by the toothpaste company that did the survey, probably choosing tramps or something to conduct the survey
.
This way they annoy us into buying more toothpaste and mouthwash and crap.

Well actually newsround reported recently that NI is the worst in the UK for tooth decay, and they're opening up dentists surgeries in schools because of it. So nyer!

my teeth are as clean as they can be... unfortunately they are stained by certain drinks and foods... but they are clean... and my breath is fine.
I don't chemically whiten them like americans do

I'm not on your level of Pingingness but my teeth are all straightish, and they aren't noticibly yellow. I bursh my teeth, when i remember too and i floss daily. I can honstly say i'm not like Austin Powers Pt1. The perfect teeth quote i made is what my dentist tells me. He hates me all he does is give me my twice a year check up and send me on my way. He likes customers like my dad who pays him loads of money because they have rotten yellow smokers teeth.
