Just installed my 120Gb hard drive... Rewired the system as well.

And what happens? Everything works perfectly... Except the god-damned sound...

The sound now stutters when I type... I've had this before on a couple of other systems, but I still have no idea what caused it or how to fix it.

Any ideas?

Your computer has evil spirits. During a full moon, you must sacrifice a goat on top of your keyboard, smear the blood on your face, and dance naked yelling 'a booga booga winblows sucks, a booga booga winblows sucks'. If that doesn't fix the problem, then I don't know what will.

Haha, I almost took a comp to an exorcist one time. It started working the day I was going to do it too, I guess the demons in it got scared.

Do you have ACPI enabled? Sometimes sound cards (or onboard chipsets) don't react well with sharing IRQs and act up.

Shouldn't this be in G&C?
