Nope, I'm quite happy the way I am, I don't need to gamble anything, nor would I want to face oblivion...

I'd take it, but I'd also cheat in some way to make sure I wasn't destroyed.

While life is (almost) good, it could be alot better, and if losing would mean I never existed (nobody remembers, etc.) then no big loss as the only reason I would hate to die is the effect it would have on the people who love me...

There are certain ways to toss a coin to ensure that it fell a certain way. But it would take time and practice.

I might be tempted to take it. If your not prepared to take a risk to realise your every dream they can't be very good dreams.

I would take the coin for these reasons as well. If I lost, I never existed to begin with and no one would care.

The key to this, IMO, is that if you lose, you simply cease to be. That can't be bad, because you couldn't possibly know that it happened. So yeah, I'll take the toss.

If when you lost you got tortured or shot or something, then no, I wouldn't take it. But since it's that you disappear, with nobody even remembering you, then there are zero bad side-effects to losing.

I'd take it. Not like I have a hell of a lot to lose.

I don't think I understand the question here. If you toss the coin and lose, does you entire existance go away, ie It's a Wonderful Life, where you were never born? Or, do you simply cease to exist? In which case you will leave behind family and friends who, even though you may at times not think so, will miss you deeply.

If I lose and I never exist, I don't flip the coin, so I don't fade from timespace. Therefore, it is only possible for the coin to land heads up.

Since it means you would never have existed in the first place, no one would miss you.



I'd take the coin. Once I get absolute power, I kick the guy's ass for not making all this easier for me.

I think I have too much going for me as of now to take a risk like that. Perhaps if I'm a complete loser in a few years, I'd try it. If that's the case, I wouldn't have much to lose.

Hell yeah, nonexistence is neutral and pleasure for the rest of my life is definately a positive.

no, to big of a chance of it going bad. Never being born is worse than ceasing to exist as if I was never born because of this, nothing will be left of me and my actions.

Let see...lose and I don't honestly lose(erased from existence isn't exactly losing unless someone knows it happened...it just happens...one second you're think Cheesesteak...the next you're not)

So I either win...or the universe plods along as usual.

I don't see the downside.

I have not had a steady job in almost a year, I had to rent my own place to someone else, I just realized I left my cell phone at a friends house and have to drive 13 miles to go get it but the freeway is all clogged due to a big accident. Im not having the best of luck this year, I leave the coin alone.

Going by sirnitrams logic hell yeah!!! If you lose it creates a causality loop till you win or don't take it. No way for anything bad to happen.

I assume that the coin is not 2-headed and that I havea 50-50 chance. And I wouldn't mind hte oblivion that much; it's not like I'd care or know.
