I cannot describe to you people how fucking awesome this movie is. It's an indie film, I believe. About two Irish dudes who go on a vigilante kill-the-evil-crime-lords-and-murderers-for-hire-in-Boston crusade. Very thought provoking, and VERY cult-classic. Buy it, download it, fucking ask me and I'll send you a copy. Just GET IT.
That is all.

Seriously, this movie and Equilibrium need to be added to the FAQ as indie movies that are constantly referenced.

Why don't you make like a tree, and get the fuck out of here!
Great movie. Have it on DVD. Borders sells it, I believe, at least the one near me does.

All Saints Day.
They've been hitting trouble and the release is uncertain. 2004 I believe it is supposed to be.

You and your fucking rope.
What's great is you watch the directors commentaries about the cat sequence.

"Well, 'name one thing you're gonna need the stupid fucking rope for.'"

The cut scene where they talk to their mom in Ireland is even better. That and the full intro scene with the lesbian.
"Hey Murph, how many lesbians does it take to plug in a light bulb? Two, one to screw it in, and one, wee little lesbian ... to
suck my fucking cock!"
EDIT: Corrected Murph's name (was "Murray").

Iirc Ron Jeremy had a small supporting role in the film.

Rocco: I killed your cat, you druggie bitch.
Donna: What? Why?
Rocco: I thought it would bring closure to our relationship.
One of the funniest lines in the whole movie.

Don't forget the most colourful usage of the word "fuck" ever on celluloid.

My favorite part is when they bust into the psycho's card party, and shoot the hell out of the place while the killer is on the john. The way the killer reacts to the bullets flying through the walls is priceless.

Neither of these movies are indie films. They are simply lower budget Hollywood affairs. If you want indie films, go check out Sundance.

They're independent in that they were made outside of the usual Hollywood channels. They're not mainstream, studio movies.
And Sundance, most of those are prententious crap films.

Eh.. it's kinda indie. LOL

20th Century Fox made the movie, but I highly doubt they did anything more then fund it, considering that theyre almost entirely uncreditted as the production studio.

Is that any less than what they do for most of the movies they fund?

Yes. Studios can have major production influence if they choose to exert it.
