"Like my pappy always said, never get in a fight with seven men when all you've got is a six-shooter."

Oh, Maverick. Well, the movie sucked total shit, and I've never seen the TV show, so excuse my ignorance.

WHAT?! Aside from the country music, that movie ROCKED! I damn near busted a gut over the whole "Kill Ingine" bit. :D

Yeah, yeah. Has anybody else noticed that Mel Gibson has never been in a good movie?

Lethal Weapon wasn't good?

For that comment, you shall be drawn, quartered, drowned, disemboweled, hanged, shot, hanged again, stretched, impaled, burned, shot again, shot some more, burned once again for good measure, doused with lime, soaked in HCL and finally ejected into the photosphere of the neartest star. Beyond Thunderdome is the undisputed KING of all post-apocalypse movies. it rocked fucking hardcore and has some very quoteable quotes in it that survive to this day:

TWO MEN ENTAH! ONE MAN LEAVES!
Whooooooooo run bartertown???
Not shit! Energy!

Lethal Weapon was all right, but it wasn't good. Though I will say that Chicken Run was a good movie, though he was only a voice actor in that.

Braveheart was fucking stupid. It was boring, exceedingly un-historical, and completely uninteresting. Even if it had been true-to-history, it would have been boring as hell.

The Mad Max trilogy is stupid, but then again, I don't like post-Apocalyptic stories.

Gallipoli actually was good, you've got me there. So Gallipoli and Chicken Run are the only two good movies he's done. Two good movies isn't much for a superstar.

you obviously have poor taste in movies. Gibson has made many good movies- Braveheart, Payback, Ransom, any of his Mad Max movies, the Lethal Weapon series.... just off the top of my head.
