I am inspired to write this thread on the account of having had a pint of actual beer, (not that swill that some would call beer around here,) So, before the alcohol goes to my head and my eyeballs no longer point in the same direction, I pose this question to you . . . what is(are) the best beer(s) that you have had?

I myself tend to like Heineken. Dos XX is pretty decent too. Though nothing beats a good Irish stout.

Now, to cover my ass, anyone who is not of legal drinking age in their respective countries should probably pretend that this thread doesn't exist.

[shamless self promo]TummiAir Beer. It's a nice, light amber that I make in my garage out of a Scottish Hopps. Very, very nice. [/shamless self promo]

Nothing unforunate about that! Shiner Bock is a quality brew!

Warsteiner is das uberbrau.

Guinness, of course, is deity in a glass.

Belgian Lambic ales are in a class all their own.

Like I said.. UNFORTUNATELY, the BEST I've tried is Shiner Bock. In fact, to date, that's the only beer I've tried that I can drink without it seeming like soapy water to me. :x

Personally, I've had Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Coors Light, Milwaukee, Miller Light, Miller Ice, Miller Ice Light (BLECH! :x), Heineken, Shiner Bock, and one other one I don't remember and wouldn't name even if I did remember, it was so gross.

Heh, I remember back in the day when "Best" meant how much can you get for the lowest price.

30 cans of High Life for ten bucks or so, made it sickeningly cheap to be an underage drinker.

hahah! Now I settle for no less than a good Rolling Rock or Killians.

Mmmmmm beers and lagers and ales, oh my! Sam Adams Octoberfest is great, i'm also a big fan of Newcastle. Guiness Stout is tasty and Pilsner Urquell from the Czech Republic is outstanding. Heiniken is possibly the most overrated beer in the world. It tastes like Bavarian sheep piss.
(on a side note has anyone ever had an Irish Car Bomb? It's half a pint of Guiness and you drop in a shotglass filled with Jameson's Irish Whiskey and Bailey's Irish Cream, then drink it as quickly as possible. Tates like chocolate milk)

Actually, the last time I tried Guinness, it tasted okay. I could probably go for more of that.

I am rather partial to Speckled Hen, as well as Bishop's Finger (nothing quite like draining the head from a Bishop's finger...), Abbot is alright, and back in Lancaster, I was rather partial to Lancaster Bomber. But mainly Old Speckled Hen.
