No, no, not at all, don't get me wrong, I've just never heard of/seen such a thing...much of a dog's virtue is in speed....body armor sufficient to cover el Perro would be waighty (Given their size) Hell, I used to wear a vest everyday, and while not overly heavy, very constrictive....I dunno...just seems...impractical..

It's more impractical to lose a dog whose training costs a lot of resources and time. You can't just grab any dog from the street and train him in fifteen minutes to properly handle an armed opponent.
