Alright, I recieved a text message that was needless to say unsolicited. Here's a transcript of the actual message I recieved:
sent: Oct. 22, 2003
from: memphis_homes_buyer3@hotmail.com

(HELLO) I buy houses & take over mort payments. Want to sell YOUR home? Type SEND THE INFO in sub line for more info lrfg
I thought about doing something particularly nasty like filling up the bastard's inbox, but I decided to complain to Verizon instead. Turns out that they did it to nearly every Verizon customer in the area, and lots of people have been complaining. They're looking into who these people are, and will be taking legal action against them. :D

They're gonna get

Good. Bitch slap them silly.

It's part of the reason I use Hotmail for my 'public email account'. The filters catch most of the crap, and the 'block entire address group' (you know, all @bob.com emails) takes out lots more nicely

How about the idiots that send spam to our fax machines? Isn't it nice how they use up all of our ink to send their stupid shit?

Verizon is pretty good about going to bat for their customers. They're still fighting the RIAA in court so as not to turn over their customers' usage records.

Doesn't it cost money for you to receive txt msgs? Something like 2 cents to receive, 10 to send (unless u have a txt msg plan or what not). Those bastards wasted 2 of ur cents...kill em

It costs a whopping penny, but its the principle of the thing. Ohh, if you guys wanna flame the shit out of the morons, go right ahead. ;) Just don't forget to use spare accounts. :)
