I think it's a little...odd, but I don't see any sinister intent at work here.

Truthfully, these usually aren't that different than getting a figure of a movie villain.

Yay! I shall buy an army of these and drape them in an Israeli flag!

Good Lord, the potential for these is staggering...

most interesting. now all they need is several different action figures of jews who are starved down to skin and bones in several different dying poses and a konzentration camp with funktionable gas chambers as the castle gray skull equivalent. cool.

Hitler has appeared in doll form several times over the years. I remember seeing an entry on the Japanese hobby webstore Hobby Shop under a garage doll manufacturer (Dragon, I think) that focusses on quality 12-inch military dolls, particularly for WWII. But their items are geared towards doll collectors and military enthusiests, not children.

Does it blow it's own plastic brains out when placed in the vicinity of some Red Army dolls?

Does the doll come with working Red Army torture devices?

Damn, that's not to scale with my Sigmund Freud action figure.

What a shitty figure, he probably can't even give a proper salute...

It's not a doll! It's a figurine!

Interestingly enough, my Jesus action figure is in scale with my Simpsons action figures.

As a collector, I can indeed tell you that yes, it's a doll. ;)

The information says it can.

I think the far higher death rate speaks for itself.

The Emperor/Darth Vader using the Death Star to destroy Alderaan?

Yet there isn't an outcry about them.

The Nazi figures from Indiana Jones, yet there isn't an outcry about them either.

Though the Fiction/Non Fiction facter is the issue here.

Anyway, Darth Vader is just too funky to be held accountable. And wasn't it Tarkin that wiped Alderaan?

Grand Moff Tarkin was responsible for the destruction of Alderaan, not Darth Vader. And that was fictional; Hitler is real.

Fine. Tarkin, close enough. He has a figure too.

The thing is that there are still action figures of Nazis.

Action figures of people like Hitler, Bin Laden, etc. are more about their reconizeability as opposed to supporting what they believe in.

Didn't Hitler even get Time person of the year?

Yes, shortly after the invasion of Poland, IIRC.

But Time's Man of the Year isn't for people that did good things, but were notably in the news for that year.

I think this is no different to when people buy little cowboy/indian figures. The only real diffence is how long ago it was.
