Is it just me, do I just seem to magnet to these kind of people, or is everyone in the world seriously FUCKED up.

Today I was in Bio 2, talking to this girl. She's nice, kinda smart, seemed normal, really just talk to her in class and occasionally at lunch. Not fucked up or disturbed in anyway, she had a little problem with drinking but nothing serious(I thought). We had an early out today, and no real assignment to do, so we were just chatting. Well, in one little bomb shell of a conversation I found hout her boyfriend is almost twice her age(she's 16 he's 31), she's a nympho maniac and have been fucking since summer(Bing number one statuatory rape, but she's 16 and I'm not really bothered by that), then I found out the reason she's not going to drink for a year because she went to a party of her boyfriend's best friend(25 and married), she gets wasted, and her and her boyfriend go up and fuck, then he leaves, his friend comes in and has sex with her to(bing number two, adultery, statuatory and normal(since she was drunk) rape). And then she tells me she's bisexual and has had lesbian sex 3 or 4 times(bing number three, doesn't really bother me, but hit me by surprise none the less).

I go from having a aquatince I just chatted about shit with, to having some major FUCKED UP secrets dropped on me. I think shell shock is an appropriate term.

I know a 13 year old thats doing drugs, fucking an 11 year old, and stole that 11 year old's mom's car.

Maybe she's just BSing to sound like she's experienced.

In response to the OP, i've met people like that too, she's making up for something (could be parental, or something from her past) with all the sex and just lumping it on you to get attention and to vent, probably.

The fact that she is telling you these things, in an almost prideful way, is defintily meaning she is doing it for the attention. Girls with low self esteem often are slutty because being fucked/desired by men makes them feel good about themselves, especially when its older men. That and she probably has serious psychological issues. Eventually either she'll crack or something very bad will happen to her. But thats pretty much a given.

Sounds like some nice girls I know. Sounds like my girlfriend, actually, in her younger years. Plenty of girls do that, but in my experience it's more of a stage than an indication of their future. Sure, a lot bad can come of it, but you'd be surprised at how rare that is if they choose their partners with any sense at all and always use protection. As to age, she's actually on the older edge of the spectrum for that stage, going by girls I know.

Actually, that's some pretty extreme behavior.

I don't think that plenty of girls do stuff that extreme.

meh ... ive had more fucked up friends, your female aquantance isn't that bad really, i suppose shes just experemental. i'de say she just hangs out with the wrong crowd ... i would hardly call her the fucked up one, that would be a fundamental attribution error

I wouldn't say it was prideful, most of it went down over a month ago before she told me, was kind of embaressed by it, and told me not to tell anyone she knew.

Wow. It's just unbelievable that someone like that goes to your high school. If someone told me that, odds are they're bullshitting and think I'm as gullible and stupid as the other guys I hang out with.

Nah, it just sounded more like average attention grabbing stuff(especially adding the lesbian sex), in my experience, people like that would end up practically moving into your house to indicate that you are their "cry for"helper.

In that case then i would say it would probably be like a cry for help. You should probably tell her that tha kind of thing is not normal and that she should get herself together and that you'll always be there for support. You know what i mean? So yeah, this hit me by surprise from this person, but in general isn't something shocking to me.
