Ok, well tomorrow, i will be staying in, doing sweet fuck all.

However, my parents will go out at some point (to avoid trick or treat-ers) and i have a decent sound system, and an openable window.

So, i need some songs to get to drive away all but the most determined of trick-or-treaters, with a suitibly intimidating and scary halloweenish sound.

So, spooky songs please? Much appreciated.

The theme song to Barney. At full blast. All day and night. It should scare everyone away.

Anything by Misfits. I always give them a spin right around this time of year; puts me right in the mood for halloween.

You may want to listen to Helloween's Halloween--its literally about Halloween.

How about Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast?

Also folk songs are FULL of ghost story ballads.

Of which my favorite is "She moved therough the fair."

Stormie suggested the artist, I suggest the songs:

Welcome to My Nightmare
Brutal Planet
Dragontown
I Love the Dead
Black Widow

Also, of the top of my head:
Thriller Michael Jackson
Trust in Me (yes, the Disney Song) by Siouxsie and the Banshees
Lost Little Girl by Siouxsie
Serial Killer Slash's Snakepit
Mister Torture - Helloween

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned the Danse Macabre.
Also some Apocolyptica may suffice, especially as they have a version of Hall of the mountain King.
