Kill Bill vol. I Soundtrack

On an impulse I picked up this CD.

It comes with three QT trailers for the movie. One's the standard trailer and two others look like early working trailers. There are some bits of scenes that weren't left in the first movie but nothing I can recall off the top of my head.

Anyway, I rather enjoy the soundtrack except for the one rap style song. There's even a track by Zamphir that I like. :)

Does the soundtrack have the music that played when Uma and Lucy where sword fighting in the snow. The one that went clacka-clacka-clacka?

There's a brief instramental bit that's labled as "sword swings". Is that what you mean? I was a little distracted during that part of the movie because I had to take a hell-a-shush piss.

No, that's not it but thanks anyway. I did really good. I made it through the whole movie without having to pee. I did let go a good one after the movie. :)
I think I will stop by Fry's or someplace and check out the soundtrack.

I made it through the movie but I didn't stay to watch the credits. :D

The problem was that I got there too early and drank a large coke waiting for the movie to start.

If you find out what the name of the song was would you let me know? :)

:? I was just looking at the "bootleg" trailer that came on the CD and it ends with some music that I remember in the movie but isn't on the disk.

I think that one is "Don't let me be misunderstood." :?:

And, it's not actually a bad song!

After a little research I found out the music played during the fight in the snow garden is called a "flamenco" which Im assuming is some sort of spanish style. Some people are saying it is on the CD and some are saying it is not.
Im terribly helpful are'nt I?

Hey, thanks I think you are on to something. Here is a snippet I found while browsing the web. I can sleep now. :)
She had two days to track down the rights to a flamenco version of the Animals' "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" from 1977. The song belongs to the disco outfit Santa Esmeralda. It memorably creeps up during a climactic swordfight between Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu in a snowbound tea garden. "You'd think it'd be the easiest song to get. I mean, it was a No. 1 hit," Ramos says. "But it was the hardest one to track down."

I've periodicly had the music during the opening credits stuck in my head since i saw it.

"Bang bang, you shot me down, bang bang, that awful sound, bang band..."

Same here, the spaghetti western like music also got me to buy thr CD. I'm annoyed it isn't longer though and it doesn't have one of the pieces played during the O-Ren Ishii flashback.

"Don't let me be misunderstood" is definately on the soundtrack. After thinking about it awhile I had an inkling that might be the one you meant but I wasn't really sure.

I'm disappointed that the the music that's at the end of the third trailer included on the CD isn't included as a music track. Maybe it'll make it into vol. 2 :)
