Ok, the plague is coming in 48 hours, what do you do?

Ok, lets say that you find out through a friend of a friend or something like that, that a plague that is VERY contagious, let's say 75% level(and those that are infected die within 7 days), is going across the Earth, what do you do?
Keep in mind, to the rest of the world, its business as normal, the governments are surpressing it because they do not want a riot on their hands.
So, what do you do for the next 48 hours?

I'd drive away from it, since a plague, which is that lethal, would quickly burn it out. Having governments do nothing is just stupid; they could simply shut down long distance travel and have the whole thing contained in a week or two.

Well, seeing as we're out in the geography away from everything, we barricade our village and don't let anyone through and just ride it out.

Get my family and I to a safe and secluded place and stay there for about a month or two and to make sure that there enough supllies to last. Food, bottled water, guns (just to make sure no animal gets near or a persistent person), etc............

See above, but also turn the house into a fortress with plexiglass over the windows and everything sealed air-tight.
Depends on if the plague is airborne or human transmitted

Don't forget to bring in a lot of plants, because if your house is sealed air-tight, you're gonna run out of oxygen pretty fast.
I'd probably do what the above person said. It reminds me of a short story written by Edgar Allen Poe...

Stock up on food and water and live out at my grandmother's place for a month or so.

Er, could one have enough plants in a house to replenish oxygen quickly enough? I'm skeptical of that plan myself.

You would have to live in a near-greenhouse.
I expect it could be done, though.

If I believe him... Take a week of vacation or "sick" leave (don't want to get fired in case it's nothing). Buy a rifle (if it doesn't have a waiting period). Stock up on food. Buy a generator and a lot of fuel. Then head back to my parent's farm. If I really, really think it's for real, I'll try to get some friends and family into it. One's a emergency room doctor. One just got out of the marines. One's a semi crazy survival nut with an unbelievable number of guns. Etc.
Mostly, just get prepaired, see if it's for real, and wait for it to blow over. However, if it is for real, there is a good chance for society to completly collapse, so planning to be on your own for months seems like a good idea.

Didn't the Biodome try, and fail, at that?

Yes, but they were going for a long-term solution. Besides, they wanted to grow their own food and stuff. All you need in this scenario is to camp inside your airtight house for a week and eat hoarded food.

48 hours? A plague THAT deadly? Easy. I got sick time at work. I take 10 days off. (One occurrence, psh). I got plenty of canned goods, batteries, lights, cigarettes, etc. Stay in my house, have ZERO contact with ANYone. and once the plague peters out, I step outside and breathe the clean, oddly pollution-free air and go about my life as normal.
*Checks his stash. "Yup. Good to go."*

I make very little human during my free time anyway, so I shouldn't have much of a problem dealing with it the way I'm doing things right now.

I'd get as much food, water, and supplies as possible. Kidnap a few good looking girls, and try to find my way to a deserted island whether by boat or plane. There we will replenish the Human race.

And if after a week it turns out to be a hoax you can sell the story for movie rights or even a sitcom.

Obviously you didn't see the Pauly Shore movie.
I'd gather my family, and run the hell away. I'd tell my freinds to get their families and run away. We'll form a new world.

I was just using it as an example. I don't think it could replenish fast enough either.

A lawn provides enough oxygen for five humans I think, I heard this a long time ago on the Gardener guy so I don't remember much.

Give us more details on the plague. Is it airborne or transmitted another way?
If it's airborne, I'm going to Austrailia, where the wind patterns don't blow to alot
If it's not airborne, lock up the house/fortitfy it and stock up on food and water
