Well, there's too many to just lump them all into one big giant poll, so I guess you can just post them. ^_^ I like Chrono Trigger. That or Pocky and Rocky.

Tekken Tag, Tekken 4, and Dynasty Warriors 3, MK2, Super Mario World (I think--the one with Yoshi).

Most any game where there's one-on-one combat...didn't much like SF or anything after MK2, but DOA and VF are sure shots, maybe? I've never played them...

Let's see... FF6 (ie. US FF3) has not only the best story, but the best music. Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana (I loved the music in the dwarven caves!), Galaga (just classic), Space Invaiders (double classic), TEMPEST, Gauntlet (the original stand up), Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II, Marvel vs. Capcom... do you know how fun it is to go up to a fighting game, drop in a quarter and beat the crap out of some 16 year old kid?? For me, that is just the ultimate. ;)

SNES game, Verilon. They just haven't released it for PS or PS2 yet, unlike Chrono Trigger. I really wish they would. That piece of crap they called a sequel was horrid.

The greatest videogame ever Super Mario Brothers 3, no question, no argument.

What would be interesting is to find out what people's votes for the most frustrating game ever was. Not WORST game, no, but the game that you loved to play but which caused you to actually beat a piece of hardware to death with your bare hands.

Now, i've played games so horribly unplayable that I gave up, but for me, it was Lemmings. I love Lemmings. Played that game for years. I still play it. I still haven't beat the damned thing. Lemmings caused me to snap a Nintendo controller in two, and to have my wife investigate me at three in the morning after hearing me scream, "WHY CAN'T YOU LITTLE FUCKERS JUST *NOT* FALL IN THE GODAMNED PIT????"

Aw, you poor deprived thing. (j/k)

In my life, I have had:

Atari 2600
Nintendo
Sega Genesis (and the 32X)
Sega Saturn
N64
Playstation
PS2
Game Cube
Game Boy Color
Sega Nomad
Game Boy Advanced

I had access to a SNES, but never owned one of my own. Yes, I'm a console freak. But, I do refuse to get an X box. forget that.

MB3 was lots of fun. My only complaint on the MB series was that it was repetitive. And it could be grouped into your category of most frustrating. Sonic is the same way. I still love it though.

I agree with Lemmings. Moving a cursor around the screen I can't do as fast as punching buttons to make a character punch someone multiple times and then do a fatality.

OMG, I forgot one of my favorite Sega/upright games!

Soul Calibur.
I cannnot wait to see Calibur 2.

Oh, and the SW trilogy sit-down is great.

The games were frustrating, but I didn't have trouble controlling them. I whapped out the new Mario Sunshine in about a week of casual playing, because my hand-eye doesn't have a problem with the control.

I used to be really good at Street Fighter 2, but only on the SNES (I couldn't win Mortal Kombat if I wanted to - WHY do they need a block button????). I try most fighting games in the arcade, and go tats up after about two seconds for want of the ability to use the little knobs that pass for control sticks on those things. Give me a gamepad for fighters anyday. Analog joysticks...BAH!

Xwing

The first game I had on my PC which gave my friends with commodore amiga's (that's the name?) reasons to salivate.

And the game I spent more hours playing.

And yes, I know I'm old

Ties with half life, though

And who could forget Resident Evil ? The horror-game genre is maturing now, and there are severral different titles to choose from , but RE is the classic that really made the original PS console. It was amazing for its time in gameplay and graphics, and it was incredibly well-produced; when was the last time you played a game that could give you the chills like that?

Sure, most of the dialougue was pure cheese. "I'm coming with you. Chris is our old partner, y'know." *GAG*

But dammit, after a hard day , there are few things more satisfying than coming home and blasting the shit out of an endless zombie horde. :D

 Why thanks, Verilon.

I've heard of but never played SIN. And Doom is really cool from FP aspect. Hm, I suppose now I should add Dark Forces to the list. That's such a good fp game too. And Duke Nukem is just funny.
